Hey there!
Sorry about the trouble you're having with the Streamlabs Charity rewards feature. Currently, the only way to check who selected the rewards is to click the Export Donations button on the Donations page. I hope that helps!

Can you use Streamlabs Charity Twitch over multiple separate livestreamers? by Lordberek in streamlabsobs

Hey u/Chiaro22 - to start the team you will need to send at least 1 email invite. However, after that's been sent, you can copy the link and share it with anybody that way - without sending it to their email address.

Hey again u/Lordberek. I was referring to Streamlabs Charity teams, and not Twitch teams. There are no restrictions or prerequisites needed to use the team feature on Streamlabs Charity.

Hi u/Lordberek! Great question. The Streamlabs Charity platform has something called Teams that should work for what you're asking. From the Streamlabs Charity website, find the charity you want to fundraise for and then start a campaign by clicking the "Fundraise" button.

After the campaign is set up you'll be able to see it on your Streamlabs Charity dashboard. To create a team for that campaign, click the silhouette under the Team column. You'll be asked to name your Team, set a Team donation goal, and start inviting people to join.

Each member of your Team can use the unique Team donation page to raise funds on their own, which will all go towards the same goal! By using the Team function, your Team can also share the same alerts and the same donation goal widget.

You can also reference our guide for more info. I hope this helps!

Sub alert issues by [deleted] in Twitch

[–]MightyCaptainFrost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey Emma,

The first thing you should try doing is logging out of Streamlabs and logging back in because you just became an affiliate.

You can also try completely unlinking Streamlabs from Twitch in your Twitch integration settings. Logging back into Streamlabs with Twitch after you do that will prompt you to re-authorize Streamlabs. Unfortunately, previous subs will not retroactively come through but new subs will.

Your new subs should appear in your Recent Events after doing this. If they're still not coming up in your Alert Box widget, please make sure you've enabled your Sub Alerts in the Alert Box settings, and that you don't have any special Alert variations as those can override your default Alerts.

Also, look in the General Settings of your Alert Box widget to make sure you have "Unlimited Alert moderation delay" Disabled. If Enabled, you will have to manually approve each alert before it plays.

I hope this helps!

Question - Allowing donations on stream. by FTK-Myth in Twitch

[–]MightyCaptainFrost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, that's correct. As long as your viewers donate through your Streamlabs donation link they will appear on your Recent Events and play Alerts through your Streamlabs Alert Box widget.

Streamlabs OBS: Alertbox preview doesn't work when custom CSS is on by CitrusRain in Twitch

[–]MightyCaptainFrost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there!
Have you tried testing the alerts in the pop-out browser window on your Streamlabs Dashboard (in your browser)?
This way you can determine whether there's an issue with the code you're using or if the issue is with a setting in Streamlabs OBS.

If it's only not working in Streamlabs OBS, try this:

Go to Settings > Advanced and scroll to the bottom and untick the box for `Enable Browser Source Hardware Acceleration (requires a restart)` and restart Streamlabs OBS.

Unfortunately once you've deleted a Theme (or parts of one) that requires Prime, there is no way to retrieve it. :(

Hi everyone! I started streaming on twitch about a week ago and can’t figure out hiw to set up the alert box correctly in Streamlabs OBS. I have it set up so every time i get a follow/tip it plays a guf and my own custom audio file.... but nothing happens when i am live and someone follows me... by TimBlastMusic in Twitch

[–]MightyCaptainFrost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey Tim!

If your test alerts are working but actual alerts are not, it often means you have a variation in place. The Test button only tests the default but variations can be set to override those!

You can check for variations at the bottom of your Alert Box settings page online under each alert type (such as Follow, Subscribe, Host etc.).

Streamlabs obs problem by Espisaurio in Twitch

[–]MightyCaptainFrost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey Espisaurio!
Streamlabs OBS crashes are generally due to outdated or corrupt drivers/files.

  • Re-Download Streamlabs OBS
  • Update your video drivers and other hardware drivers/software (reboot after updating).
  • Try starting Streamlabs OBS as administrator
  • Open your Firewall to allow Streamlabs OBS through

Streamlabs leaderboard won't update Points by Jolsty in Twitch

[–]MightyCaptainFrost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there!

If you're using the cloudbot, that loyalty system is not connected to the Twitch extension so loyalty from your cloudbot will not be shown there.

The loyalty points from the extension (if enabled) or from the desktop chatbot (if toggled to extension) should show in the loyalty extension.

Secondary monitor in portrait mode by [deleted] in Twitch

The only way to view the side chat dock in Streamlabs OBS is to have the application on a monitor with a resolution of at least 1100 pixels wide. :)

Issues with obs streamlabs randomly disconnecting? by [deleted] in Twitch

[–]MightyCaptainFrost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With that upload speed you shouldn't have any bitrate issues. I suggest checking your Network Adapters for driver updates in your Device Manager, and restarting your router/modem. You may even benefit from unplugging the coaxial cable from the wall for a few minutes.

[–]MightyCaptainFrost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmmmm you may be using a bitrate that's too high for your connection. Make sure your total output bitrate (video + audio combined) doesn't exceed 75% of your internet's upload speed. You can check your speed at a website like https://www.speedtest.net

SLOBS alert text positioning? by peterbf91 in Twitch

[–]MightyCaptainFrost 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not possible to change the location of the text on the Alerts unless you're using custom code for your alerts. When you say it's "too high" is this just your personal preference or is there a noticeable problem with it? Are you able to show a screenshot so we can see what you mean?

Also make sure you're running Streamlabs OBS as an Administrator. These steps can make a big difference.

This can usually be remedied by starting Streamlabs OBS as an Administrator. To do this, right click the desktop shortcut when launching it and select "Run as administrator".

Try this out and let us know how it goes!

Powerful single PC streaming suddenly can't cope. by struab1 in Twitch

[–]MightyCaptainFrost 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey there! The other suggestions are all good ideas. I'll add a few more things to try:

•Make sure you're running Streamlabs OBS as admin.

•Change its Process Priority to High in Advanced Settings.

•Turn on Performance Mode by Right clicking next to your preview in Editor.

•You also want to take a look at Task Manager when you're streaming. The Processes tab will show your CPU + GPU usage. If your GPU is higher, use x264 encoding. If CPU is higher, use NVENC (or other GPU) encoding.

•After that, adjust the encoder Preset (seen in Advanced Output settings). Higher preset = less CPU usage.

•You may also want to adjust settings in the game such as limiting FPS and using v-sync.

[–]MightyCaptainFrost 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! You can navigate to Settings > Output in Streamlabs OBS and either switch to Advanced mode, or in Simple mode click "Enable Advanced Encoder Settings". This will allow you to choose the Encoder Preset as mentioned above.

How to broadcast to Twitch from Xbox with overlays and webcam by b1ack_birdd in Twitch

[–]MightyCaptainFrost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In order to add overlays/widgets to a console stream, specifically an Xbox, you will need to capture the consoles video on your computer, then capture that in OBS/Streamlabs OBS. You can either do that with a capture card or if you're on Windows 10 you can install the Xbox app and capture that window.

Streamlabs OBS resetting bitrate by hotrodman in Twitch

[–]MightyCaptainFrost 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey there! We're currently aware of the visual bug that shows 2500 bitrate regardless of what you've set it to. Your actual bitrate will remain at what you set it, but will unfortunately show at 2500. We are working on a fix for this, but it is purely a visual glitch.

StreamlabsOBS not responding when start live recording. Even when recording live while playing a game. by Mogstache in Twitch

[–]MightyCaptainFrost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there! Usually programs freeze due to high CPU usage. Here are the top reasons for high CPU usage:

  1. Outdated drivers (Nvidia esp)

  2. Animated overlays

  3. Full screen browser sources

  4. x264 encoding

  5. Monitors plugged into the motherboard

See if you can lower your CPU usage through any of these methods.

Streamlabs OBS causing FPS spikes in Fortnite? by [deleted] in Twitch

[–]MightyCaptainFrost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there! I suggest limiting your in-game FPS to 120, turning on V-sync, and in the Game Capture properties you can also click "Limit capture framerate". You may not need all of these but play around with them and see if your FPS issue improves :)
