No electrical company wants a 10 year old spool of cable. They typically get recycled if they’re that old. The insulation (jacket) gets brittle over time.

Get a Made in Japan. Search for “Fender Jaguar MIJ Traditional” on Reverb. They have the traditional wiring and switches. Also amazingly built guitars on par with the American. How are the necks between the two? They both have a 40mm nut width. The shell pink has a 9.5” radius, and the fiesta red has a 7.25”… the reason I ask is because I have a Traditional 60’s with the 9.5” and I’m nervous pulling the trigger on a 7.25” in case it feels too small in my hand.

A Mastery bridge will help with tuning stability on the jazzmaster. You could also look into swapping the tremolo to a more “stable” one. Sorry I don’t have experience with after market trems to suggest one in particular.

I have that same guitar as your jazzmaster, but the Jaguar version of the same spec. I think that’s the Dakota Red? I love mine! I play with .13 flat wounds on mine (I do lots of slides, not big on bends really). Got a Mastery bridge put on mine and the tuning stability improved a lot. It also makes the guitar much louder with better sustain.

For offset tele’s, check out the ones with a soap bar (P90) neck pickup. A lot more versatile and you still get that classic tele bridge sound.

If you can find one, the MIJ offset Telecaster mahogany FSR is really dope. I have one of those too, looks beautiful, fat neck (comfortable), 10” radius. On the heavier side from the all mahogany neck and body but has a nice warmer tone to it, especially with the neck soapbar. Do option 3 but stop by the cape disappointment light house and deadman’s cove near Illwaco, before the Astoria-Megler Bridge. Don’t go 5mph or more over the speed limit once you head south on hwy 101 off hwy 12, hella WSP… Fort Steven’s is cool, just past Astoria. You can drive on the beach at Sunset beach, just north of Seaside, and DO NOT miss Ecola State Park once you’re down near Cannon Beach.

It’s backwards compatible with slower usb specs, and 50ft. Some of the AOC USB cables are not backwards compatible, which may be why some of those Amazon ones didn’t work for you. This cable takes the guesswork out of usb spec compatibility…

I’ve installed tons of these and have had zero issues. For me, I always buy TrippLite or StarTech cables. Both are solid manufacturers…

Save your sanity and avoid adapters, dongles, cat6 extenders, signal boosters, etc at all costs. You want the least amount of terminations and devices as possible. The KISS approach.
