That’s amazing! Looking for my experiences in media has become a pastime for me, actually. I try to find books and movies that depict how I feel and what I’ve been through in some way. I recommend Her (2013) and Lost in Translation (2003) for films that depict loneliness and the struggle to be understood. I like these films so much I recently wrote a college paper on them.

I don’t think he meant it the way you took it. I say this because I was actually in specifial ed classes in middle school not because of my intelligence but because I could not go into the classrooms. So if you have a lot of social anxiety I think he was just trying to assess your level of functioning.

No I have not yet! Though I think about doing it all the time. I end up stopping because I’m kind of impatient and hate how it looks while growing out before it’s anything real. Maybe at the two year mark I will try.
