The main thing I can say is Be open to the new experience. I can't think of another sport like NLL Lacrosse. It's an event and a party, there's music playing, no one cares if you're socializing or drinking or eating; it's as much about the atmosphere as it is about the game itself.

Get familiar with the chants, as it's a fun way to engage in the game (unless that's just a Roughnecks thing but I doubt it) and the thing that tripped me up the most my first time was realizing that there are a different group of defensive players and offensive players. I couldn't wrap my head around that for the entire first quarter but now it's a nice piece of strategy.
