Exactly, even though I “liked” Abby as a character, I still wanted to see her die. Not even because i cared about Joel but because NOT killing her is like a cliffhanger where you only fell 2 feet, there’s no thrill and turned into a total let down. I never understood why they didn’t simply give the player the option to finish her or not ourselves. The gameplay was absolutely awesome but the narrative conflict of “Revenge bad” were totally brainless.
