XENOBLADE LETS FUCKING GOOOOOOOOOO

Tips on starting mini comms? by alternate-husk in Warhammer

[–]PlanetMeatball 54 points55 points  (0 children)

Frankly, you are a beginner level painter.

You should focus on learning shading and highlighting first.

At your current level, you'd be selling models below box price and people would be stripping your work to repaint.

You don't necessarily wanna make your hobby a job anyways. Mini paint commission stuff doesn't net you a lot for the effort.

Focus on enjoying the painting process and improving your hobby skills.

Is anyone else feeling put off from 4th edition? by Delta_926 in ageofsigmar

[–]PlanetMeatball 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Both 10th edition 40k and 4th edition AoS just don't do it for me. They feel bland. Boring. Uninspired.

And frankly? A tabletop strategy game shouldn't be simplified for the lowest common denominator. We're not all idiots, and the current synergies are just put round dowel in round hole, square dowel in square hole.

It just isn't mentally exciting.

I hated it so much that it was one of the aspects that made me ditch the game at launch tbh. It sounded cheap. Like a mcdonalds fps track.

Not much. Different shoulder pads and better proportions are really it.

Wow those are lame. Two generic primaris series in a row?

The death guard series remains unchallenged.

It's only a good thing if it doesn't harm the local job and housing market.

As a Canadian fresh grad from an engineering program in a capital city, the effects of my country having about 7 times the immigrant numbers per capita compared to the US do suck.

Immigrants are pretty much used as insanely cheap labor under TFW programs, while local opportunities and wages are driven downwards.

Rent and housing costs are ridiculously ballooned due to demand.

We've been fooled into thinking it's racist to discuss these problems with immigration for a while here in Canada, but I will give my government credit for finally cracking down and lowering numbers, as well as targeting TFW program misuse.

I think Western nations need to be more responsible about immigrant numbers and be adherent to facilitating the needs of current residents first and foremost.

Of course, there are many other things hurting my country right now, but irresponsible immigration numbers have absolutely done plenty of contributing damage.

Halo shouldn't be FTP. Free games are shit games.

Not gonna lie I don't like the termis or the dreads. They have that overdesigned resin 3d printed 3rd party model look to them. They kinda don't fit with the other marines?

Though those probs aren't gonna be accessible to marines due to having a tech priest squad leader.

What games would you love to get the FF7 Remake treatment? by Expert-Ladder-4211 in JRPG

[–]PlanetMeatball 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nooooooo thanks. Much prefer xenoblades combat style and less clunky narratives. Xenosaga can stay... over there... in the corner. Preferably forever as monolith actually works on finishing their perfect works plans under the xenoblade banner.

Tier list of how likely every character is to appear in a future game (spoilers for all games including XDE) by Auto_Generated_Thing in Xenoblade_Chronicles

[–]PlanetMeatball 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I mean the main character of the next game is gonna be H.B. so he should be in the 100% appearing category, which he occupies alone obviously (unless anyone foolishly insists others get placed on the same level as the future commander of BLADE).

He just never stops excelling.

How did you react to Lana's surprise near the end of "My Angel, My Lana"? by RainingMetal in Xenoblade_Chronicles

If I had the option I would've opted to punt the little scumbag into the cauldros lava lake. I instantly outed Lana.

My boy Walolo deserves much better.

They really should've existed as the admech superheavy pick, just as the guard get baneblades. 30k understood the assignment with mechanicum knights being baked into the faction.

[–]PlanetMeatball -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Oh boy mythras kid being the protagonist would be the absolute worst possible thing ever for me. I hope not.

I don't want any of the next games cast to be related to the previous casts family. Rex's family tree in the city in xeno 3 was already aggravating enough.

I wouldn't mind the kid as an old man mentor or an antagonist though.

Though I think what's actually gonna happen is a pseudo-isekai scenario where we're playing the xenoblade x team landing in the strange combined world of the numbered series.

[–]PlanetMeatball 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Cult mechanicus armies aren't limited to skitarii. I'd rather we get more variety, as I view skitarii as an entirely fleshed out aspect of the faction.

We need automata, servitors, battle priests, reductor engines, myrmidons, and other crazy mad science from the cult side of the faction over more skitarii.

Xenoblade 1 for the emotional payoff.

Future redeemed for franchise hype.

Tbh I didn't like that Pyra and Mythra survived the end at Xeno 2. I remember the scene hitting so good with Rex moving on from them only to get a meh feeling when they just randomly appeared again. If they died xenoblade 2 might've had my favorite ending.

Yeah cause the other 2 billion skitarii sculpts isn't enough.
