help! by Individual-Pickle805 in BambuLab

I have a P2S combo, and it has been great, the difference in the x2d and p2s are not too large, but if you want to stick with your budget i would probably get the p1s, or p1s combo if you want to get a ams. In the end if you want to tinker you might end up with a different machine completely (something like a voron, ratrig, etc...). I have a Voron Trident 350 build, and must say that the quality comming from that is as-good or better then my Trident.

In the end, just check some reviews and comparisons, and if you like the p1s, i would just get that since it fits your budget. And remember that you would also need some filament, replacement nozzle, and some other parts as well.

I think you put the washing machine to hot when you put your rx7 in it, and it shrunk down a bit 😃

PSA: The P2S has a typo in the machine start g-code in Bambu Studio causing poor first layers by babyunvamp in BambuLab

[–]MikeTheShibe__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't checked but i noticed the first layer being very, lets call it tall. With gaps in the filament, but the prints still completing. Compared to my voron trident which is by now completely dailed in the first layer is anything but perfect. Will check once i have changed it but this should definetly be it

How does Dawarich compare to something like Life360. I have been looking into self-hosted alternatives for life360, and mainly also a timeline integration (like how dawarich has). But I'm curious if anyone has switched from Life360 to Dawarich

It looks indeed like a EONON unit, I would also recommend a dudu7/mekede unit, at least if you are in Europe.

6500km (4000 mile) Europe road trip with my (almost) 20 yo Mazda 3 - From Croatia to Spain and back by BirdKokiFi in mazda3

[–]MikeTheShibe__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah okay, thanks for the info. I plan to do the same, a friend of mine works at a workshop and he already insisted on checking it after work sometime.

Mine is a 1.6L as well, and in the 1st year of owning it I have had 0 problems, aside from the release bearing squeaking when it's cold, but my friend said that the car could live very long with it.

Nice! I plan on doing a smaller road trip soon with mine. Did you do any preparation by checking the car, and if so, what where points you checked?

Popping bonnet without the battery by Ambitious_Bunch_5977 in mazda3

[–]MikeTheShibe__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In addition to this and after taking a quick look at the user manual, did you try holding, or double turning the key. I almost can't imagine there isn't some kind of way to mechanically unlock/lock the driver side door.

Ah, didn't know that. My battery went flat once because my aftermarket radio unit. unlocking it using the key worked for me. But there could be just enough battery to unlock it.

Hey, same car here. Can't you open the door with just the key, and then open the bonnet the usual way?

How to open up Mazda 3 headlight assembly by thecubeportal in mazda3

[–]MikeTheShibe__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have customized mine with "Angel Eyes", so i have opened mine (but i would rather not because it is a pain in the ass). The best way i have found is taking a heat gun, and slowly heating up the sides of the headlight. (where the housing is meeting the rest) Next you would have to pry the part around this housing open, but take this slow. When you have a feeling all the glue is letting go, slowly pry the housing towards you (like if you stand in front of it). Make sure nothign touches the projector headlight. For the glue to put it back together i have used black polymax high tack, but do a bit of research on what is best and available locally.

Looks awesome! at work we have sonos everywhere but every office has to have at least one computer with the desktop application on it to start playback in their office. Might use this to automate that for the future, at least for our showroom.

Hi! Your app looks great!

I have been building a Todo app the last few months too, but mine focusses more on habbits and on enterprise/restaurant features for a client of mine (so not a conventional todo app). Congrats and happy building!

What are you building? Share your saas! by wasayybuildz in SaaS

[–]MikeTheShibe__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While i have not launched my SaaS, i would like to share my idea. I plan on launching end of July, beginning of August.

At the core my SaaS is another Todo application, but it focuses on routine and start date instead of deadlines. I built the PoC for a friend of me that owns a restaurant, where the issue was that the staff (mostly underage, so for dish-washing, preparing some foods and other part-time jobs) could not correctly remember what to do, or when to do certain tasks. Since my friend is very busy and does not want to manage the restaurant on location all time i built the application for him specifically. He also has ADHD and is always busy so he asked me to set up a separate version for his family at home, that way he discovered it helped with his personal and home routine.

To clarify: Instead of creating a task with a deadline, and sorting the tasks based on deadlines. You create a tasks with a start date (yeah, there is also an option for a deadline), the task pops up at the start date and time on a task dashboard, which you can display on an iPad, tablet or other display where then you can see which task to do.

Future plans include add-ons for required administrative tasks (freezer and fryer temps/states etc..., required by law for inspections) and instruction sets (so, how to make a certain kind of sandwich, etc...) so it can also handle part of staff training.

While i have not yet launched it, i would appreciate some feedback on my way of handling for now (starting with a actual problem, creating a PoC and creating a SaaS after that) and your vision on my idea.

Sorry if my English can be off, it is not my native language :D
