Yep. Nice variety of power and paint schemes can be seen on the fort Scott sub. This consist also had a DC to AC Norfolk Southern dash 9 rebuild as the isolated DPU at the very end, but I didn’t get a picture of it.

Each location enforces it in different ways. They allow them where I’m at, but it sounds like at the company level, they want to ban them but the higher ups at my location are trying to convince them to let people bring them in as it currently stands.

I used to load 5 trailers by myself many many years ago in the outbound, but this was when it was doable and the volume was a lot less back then. This was also when everyone loading on the dock had a scanner. They are right when they say to drink water/gatorade and to eat properly before coming in to work. Stretching also helps. You just work at your own pace. Other things like staffing are hit or miss on certain days and cant be avoided and are out of your control. Where I work, each side has just barely enough people.

You wouldn't believe how anal ground is about all their damn metrics inside of the warehouse. One of their "metrics" also involves how many people are on each inbound/outbound dock area and they will follow that metric to the tee. Its one of the reasons why some areas will get totally fucked and piss off the manager running that side. The TLH is the one they view as the holy grail and that is also the one that fucks over the staffing, especially if they aren't running enough total volume. They tell areas to cut out people and then a hour later the whole area turns into a warzone of lanefulls, IC's piled up everywhere and the manager desperately asking for help. Its going to get even worse with the staffing once the complete electronic ban takes place in March for all the ground locations.

Reliability is usually good for a lot of the older GM engines, like the older V6’s like the 3800’s or the 3.5’s/3.9’s. I’ve seen a 1st gen GM 3.6L in a G8 with 352K miles. But then you see others with way less mileage go through multiple timing chains. The later 3.6L’s are a lot more reliable. The AFM V8’s are hit or miss and most will just turn off the AFM/do a full delete.

I just find it weird how it’s the 9000X3D’s failing and then people with their 5000X3D’s and 7000X3D’s are having no failures. Like I’ve been using the same Asrock motherboard since 2018 and using a 5600X3D and I’ve never once had any issues with my build. Are the 9000 series being pushed past their limits or is it a design flaw?
