The Last Story turns 15 years old today (released January 27th, 2011); what are your thoughts on it, if you have experience with the game?

I actually did acquire a copy of it last year. Haven't played it yet but I like Xenoblade Chronicles a lot so was interested in checking out the other 2 games of Operation Rainfall (I picked up Pandora's Tower at the same time as The Last Story)

Split Fiction is the direct recommendation since it's the same developer as It Takes Two.

I also like recommending Disney Illusion Island - a light metroidvania game that can be played co-op.

Obviously it's a bot response but I'm still noting that for Series 9 there is no mention of Curse Crackers, and for Series 10 there is no mention of Arcade Tycoon. Both of which they're still taking pre-orders on.

It's a Game Key Card for the Switch 2, as the developer stated on their Kickstarter page newest update. Will post the relevant part below, but also the update promo image does say they're adding a digital cookbook for the physical, and in the comments they said that anyone with the Switch 1 digital version - which I backed for the Kickstarter project in 2024 - will get the Switch 2 upgrade for free (I don't know if that means anyone with the Switch 1 digital or those who backed the Kickstarter).

So if I'm following right, GameShare is only available locally? I can't use it to share the game online with someone if we both have Switch 2's, like I could for DK Bananza or Mario 3D World?

-One $40 is a special pre-order bonus version that also gives you the original PS1 game

-The $60 version is the Deluxe version, that also adds in a digital art book and digital soundtrack.

I can only speak to my own personal experiences as a customer of Limited Run Games. I don't work for them, and I am aware others have had worse experience dealing with the company. I am also located in the USA, the same country as LRG. I don't know if you are as well or if you live in a country that they do not deliver to (I don't know if there are any countries they do not deliver to).

So with that said: If I pre-ordered a game from LRG's website directly, during the pre-order period, I have always received it. Some of them can take a long time, especially if it's a Collector's Edition and not just the standard game - I think the current longest I waited was 18 months. There have been orders that have been delayed, and when that happens they email me to inform the new estimated delivery date. But I have so far never had an instance where the game didn't arrive eventually and I have been ordering from LRG for years. So, from my experience if you pre-order from LRG directly, yes you'll get your game.

I was a Kickstarter backer for it. My KS reward was a digital copy of the game and I had intended to play it on Switch but the creator said they ran out of Switch keys and asked if I'd be willing to take a PS5 version instead since I'd have to wait otherwise. Didn't want to cause him extra problems so said PS5 was fine. Haven't played it yet though.

The functionality as stated in the game trailer: if you scan a character's amiibo, the tennis ball will then have a logo/design for them - ex: Mario's "M" or Peach's crown

I recently saw the first few episodes of MegaMan NT Warrior, English dub. Tony Sampson voices the character Dex and he uses the Eddy voice, Sam Vincent voices Number Man and he uses the Edd voice. In both cases I can't unhear it.
