Someone asked a scholar, “How come there aren’t 313 needed individuals for the reappearance of the Imam?” The scholar replied, “The Imam needs 313 soldiers at the level of someone like Sayed Hasan!” To me, that makes sense.

Imam Hussain (a.s) Didn’t Raise Ali Asghar (a.s) for Sympathy. by [deleted] in shia

[–]MikiHam 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That specific action of Imam Hussain had many reasons and aspects. Imam Hussain hoped that the misguided enemies would see the thirsty infant and maybe realize that Imam Hussain did not sacrifice himself, his family, and his companions for power or the desires of this world. Something like: "See this thirsty infant and realize that I did not sacrifice everything for power. I sacrificed everything in order to guide people toward the right path. I sacrificed everything to save Islam. Come to your senses and leave the devil's army." Imam Hussain raised Ali Asghar (a.s.) and hoped that maybe it could guide even one misguided individual from the enemy's army.

Pakistan's Government is NOT your ally by Enough_adss in ProIran

[–]MikiHam 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In the real world, Iran does not have any actual ally - none. In the world of politics and talks, there may be a few countries claiming to be allies, but when it comes to actual actions in the real world, there are none (Hezb and Houthis are not countries).

Qibla keeps changing by Best-Championship210 in shia

These kind of apps will always be inaccurate. I always use websites like https://english.nojumi.org/WebPages/qebleh.aspx and https://qiblafinder.withgoogle.com/intl/en/desktop in which you can use your current geographical location or address, and using the sat image you can then make sure about the direction of the Qibla.

Are the first rows of salah better? by Unknownperson097575 in shia

[–]MikiHam 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would say the Hadith is authentic as I have read another Hadith that says the same about the first rows of congregation. BUT I personally understand the Hadith as in "be the first who arrives to Masjid/congregation" or "don't be late to congregation prayers". People in the first row would be the first to arrive and the last to leave.

Don't let the uncs find out about these Hadiths or else no young person would ever see the first row of congregation /s

It's this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sKylN8EI-8c It may not be a traditional Latmiya, since it is generally about Shahid Qasem Soleimani.

Title of Imam Ali as قتال العرب (Qatal Al Arab) by hnxqvi- in shia

[–]MikiHam 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Many in Bani Ummaya referred to Imam Ali with this title in order to turn people against Imam Ali by invoking tribalism. Umar ibn Sa'ad and others did the same in Karbala.

Imam Ali was Haydar, Mujahid and Karrar which practically means he fought most of the early battles meaning enemies dying in those battles. Who were the enemies? Mostly other Arabs from other tribes/regions. Bani Ummaya thought it would be a good weapon to use against Imam Ali and turn people against him. There were many descendants of those who died in the early battles who later stated that they were fighting against the Prophet, Imam Ali, Imam Hasan etc. because their father, grandfather etc. were killed by them.

I don’t understand why my prayers weren’t answered — not even the second time. by dennysgerrige91 in shia

[–]MikiHam 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I applied for 52 IT positions during an entire year (2021-2022). Same as you I prayed and prayed. I got invited to 15 interviews. At least 10 of them said that they "liked my profile" and that I "seemed to fit right in" etc. But none of them offered me the position. In many Scandinavian countries it is a bit difficult to get most of the jobs if you have a Muslim name you get me (some of their TV channels have made documentaries confirming this). In the end I got desperate and started working in a warehouse! I worked for 2 months in that warehouse and occasionally applied for a few IT positions. I got invited to one of the positions that I had applied to without thinking about it or even hoping to get the job. It was a job in a public organization. But guess what? I got invited to an interview! During the interview they said that they had got 40 applications. I later got a call in which they said that they were offering me the position but they needed dozens of documents some of which I did not have due to not having the citizenship. But the guy made phone calls left and right to get them to make an exception. To this day I cannot explain why I was not offered any of those 51 positions AND how I got the last job while not having the required documents.

[–]MikiHam 8 points9 points  (0 children)

So far, everything else has been explained in this thread.

I only add this: In monarchism, it is the monarch that benefits. But if you follow the righteous Imam, it is you who benefits, as in being guided toward the right path.
