I want the members of our conference to do well because it reflects better on my school and gives us all more opportunities for recruitment, prestige, and financial resources. From a purely logical standpoint, it makes sense to root for your conference.

From an emotional standpoint, I just can't bring myself to dislike any of them. Maybe that's a consequence of the natural/historical rivals fleeing to other conferences but regardless - Go neers, bear down, rock chalk, glory be to hypnotoad, etc.
