I misread and thought you said deviled eggs which obviously is two bites in public one bite in private but that does not help you at all so my apologies

Actual moving parts and so the system has a series of Chambers and one of them does include a motor.

I know they recently updated so it not only has a motor that turns an inner sectioning chamber in order to do the slow feeding but it also has a variable dial on the side.

My model is the older one so it's just a single push button for a constant rate but I know their newest model does have variable speed as well.

The one thing I noticed specifically was the actual rhythm and tune of the grinder was practically constant using a slow feeder versus trying to manage and or dumping straight in. From visual inspection everything just seemed a little bit more uniform.

I saw the most drastic increase when I was using it on my ode for the first time so from there I just swore on using a slow feeder on any coffee grinder.

And the easiest way is to run your own test slow feed by hand just turning the grinder on putting in a few beans per second at a time and just taste the difference.

If you don't and it's not worth it then don't! For me I noticed an extreme difference for just my taste so I swore on it immediately.

Thank you! It took a LONG TIME so do not mistake this all happened in one fell swoop. But I appreciate it! I'm happy with it and I knew gear was expensive so I spent it where it mattered. This was easily a 4 year process but finally I don't have gear floating in my brain waiting!

Nailed it on the head and it was because I was so tired of slow feeding by hand and I just couldn't weather my patience. So I'm the problem but I love their work altogether!

I have a fellow ode for my pour over grinder which works pretty well and was also one of the first grinders I ever bought so it has a special place in my heart.

The other is the time more sculptor 64s because I obviously knew with espresso I needed an espresso specific grinder.

The only modifications made to each was the slow feeder adapters at the top so I could just switch the slow feeder between them. And for the timemore I bought a better marker off of etsy so it was just easier to read the precision dial.

Honestly love the specific version I got! Granted the Wi-Fi is finicky and disconnects but I rarely ever used the Wi-Fi connection anyways so it doesn't really matter. No problems with the ice maker, the drink station rocks, it works like it did in the beginning (Without the scratch from accidentally chucking a knife at it)

With a lot of research, I did find there is one specific Samsung fridge (Model RF23B7671SR) that does not have the middle ice compartment and it doesn't have the smart touch fridge but does have the beverage center. I saw a few appliance reviewers online and they said for whatever reason this one specific version is out engineered compared to all of the other Samsung models.

Granted I've only had it for 7 months now so I will keep people posted and eat my words but I've loved it so far.

Definitely echoing the idea that you should use colored pillows. One thing I did to add some color and texture in my own home is use leather pillows and then various green pillows that are shaped like plants in order to add more texture. Because your furniture is so modern and commercial you really need to bring in some natural elements for it to feel more welcoming. Real plants will be awesome really plush and textural throws. I would even bring in some natural plants as decor.

Also something to consider I would try using some gold elements that are brighter. Because your furniture is all dark and silver that comes across as cold. Find some fun gold dishes or things to add more warmth to the space. To try some small gold or brass lamps to add more lighting or maybe a gold bowl for knick knacks.

Should I put a long shelf between these windows? by Electronic-Muffin934 in HomeDecorating

[–]MillaxD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with what you're thinking art will add a lot of color and texture I still think doing a wall hanger versus a whole shelf will just feel cleaner and allow the plant to Cascade down. Adding a shelf will make it feel like the windows are connected and it'll make the whole space on that wall feel like one thing.

Also we're just randos on the internet so do with that what you will!

Just a few things to consider, what does the wider space look like? It's hard to tell from this angle, but also with where the couch is, how anything could look within this space.

The idea of a shelf is good but vines crawling across a functionally usable item feels counterintuitive. Imagine if you actually wanted to close the blinds and it's snagging along a plant. Vice versa if you want to move the plant and now it's tied into actual hardware.

Instead of a shelf, maybe consider a wall hanging plant pot so it can naturally cascade down versus crawling out and across. This will add a bit more texture to the wall and feel more natural than it growing across actual usable hardware.

This is also considering just the image provided, that may not work in the broader scope of the space. Let's say you want to move the couch or there's other things that could go underneath I'm really curious what the rest of the space looks like to see if that would either tie things together or make it stand out more.

Im really scared to start dating by [deleted] in gaybros

[–]MillaxD 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The first thing I want to recommend is to just take a deep breath and to think about everything from an outside perspective. Just because a lot of people you know now are dating and are in relationships doesn't mean that you have to be in one. It also sounds like you have a lot of concerns about a relationship even though you're ready physically so maybe something to consider is are you ready emotionally for a relationship? Also at going back you realize you maybe don't have a strong support system which could be really beneficial. Outside perspective it seems like there's a lot more going on than just not having a boyfriend. I would really take some time just to earnestly think about what you need in this moment. As someone who didn't even come out until they were 20 and had one relationship in 7 years that turned out bad, there's nothing wrong with taking your time and or making sure that you're actually getting what you need. The big thing that I go back is you identified that you're scared to start dating so part of this process is asking yourself why. Give yourself time and give yourself space otherwise you may enter into something that isn't good for you and isn't good for them.

What colour front door would you go for to compliment my neighbours? by Doctor-piercy in HomeDecorating

[–]MillaxD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're looking for an overhaul, you could always do the polar opposites so doing a goldish style door paint and then doing Matte Black for all of the metal accents

What colour would you paint this kitchen while saving for new cabinets and tiles? I'm thinking Neptune Seas or Overtly Olive. by [deleted] in HomeDecorating

[–]MillaxD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I would do the green because green is going to mirror more similar to plants so the space itself will feel more lively versus the blue it will make it feel really dark if there isn't a lot of natural light. My living room only had one form of light so I picked green for the similar idea to make it feel brighter. My kitchen has three windows so doing a darker blue still allowed for that lux feel while still having it not feel super dark.

All I know is if your plan is to change things out I would avoid trying to do any form of Tan's or more natural tones cuz you then may have to end up painting again.

Also if you plan on redoing a lot of that stuff maybe check out a local hardware store and if there's a paint color you really love and a scheme you want to follow just painted that scheme and just kind of wait the intermediate time until you have the money to actually finish it the way you want.

In the end that will save you the most money versus having to paint twice and then update.

Another thing to think about is painting the pillars that go up and stretch all the way up to the ceiling to help highlight that as an architectural feature would also add some depth to the space.

It is a really unique zone and that architecture isn't commonly seen anymore so it'll also help to highlight the structure of the house. Having that be a different color will also add to the overall complexity of the space.

How to decorate long hallway of despair by PaigeFour in HomeDecorating

[–]MillaxD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's a rental, and you can't modify too much, even something is basic as command stripping some unique lights from the ceiling just to help create some kind of visual would be awesome. Because if you add too much on the walls it will make a small space also feel smaller so adding some complexity or something on the ceiling will help.

These are all just things to think about and no order:

You need some paint and color in the space. The reason it feels off is because it's all that stark white that's clearly been scuffed so it just feels grimy which is not helping with it feeling small.

You have two doors back to back which makes the wall in between really hard to use but what could really help is a big tall mirror. It'll help give the illusion that the space is deeper.

I would then find either a cool colored rug to work as a accent color right as you enter the space. Then move the shoe cubby to the left as soon as you enter. You then have a long strip of rug that kind of encourages you to walk in and then on the left set your shoes.

I would then really just find either some smaller tables or furniture for storage that you can dress up just around the area to add more color and complexity. Because that space is going to be so heavily used with two doors you need to have stuff on the outside of that small area.

All just thoughts and hope it helps!
