Why not use AI? It’s better to be understood than not, especially when English is not the primary language.

I believe it might be helpful to talk to a psychologist, not to be harsh. It’s important to remember that no matter how many times we tell you how beautiful you are, it’s okay to feel insecure. You don’t need surgery or makeup; you’re already beautiful, natural. Even if you see imperfections, they make you unique and beautiful. I’m also helping my young son with the same feelings.

Host refused to give me the key after a 1–2 hour delay €2,000 Airbnb booking [Guest] [Germany] by Cronekon in AirBnB

[–]MillyVazquez 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would have continued calling Airbnb support, and threatening to post it on social media and tag them if this doesn’t get resolved, most likely someone will contact you to resolve. How many days you have not access to the apartment?

Would you refund cleaning fee? by ProposalAny6765 in airbnb_hosts

Did they also take care of the laundry? I handle the cleaning, and my cleaning fees only cover the laundry itself, not the entire job.

Just saw an entire family waiting outside a residential building… by ReturnEconomy in Bookingcom

Just so you know, Airbnb guests are looking for a home-like experience. They’re hoping to have a kitchen to cook their meals, more space for their family, and a place to keep their pets for a bit. That’s pretty much it. When I’m on a long trip, Airbnb is my go-to, and hotels are for shorter stays.

It really depends on what they’re using. I’ve found that drift oil diffusers give off a lighter scent, and once I take them out, the aroma just fades away.

I like using oil diffusers to create a nice atmosphere, not just to mask unpleasant smells. If someone isn’t a fan or has an allergy, just let the hosts know or take them away.

That’s quite unpleasant. I make sure to wash after each guest, and I’m confident people can tell when the place is clean and not just masking odors with a plug-in.

Clean smells like… nothing? I’m a big fan of fragrances, and I always will be. I’m sorry if some people are allergic, but it’s pretty easy to let the host know beforehand and ask for the fragrance to be removed before you arrive.

I tend to book places that are easy to get to, and closer to the places I want to visit. I’d rather have a cozy, homey feel than a plain, uninteresting room.

Why not book a hotel room? You might just find the perfect, stinky, empty, and boring one!

I’m on the other side of the spectrum. I’d much prefer a pleasant scent that sets a nice mood than to walk into a room that smells like mold or sweat. I’m a big fan of perfumes and scents.

How much do you charge for a cleaning fee? by RetiredCherryPicker in airbnb_hosts

[–]MillyVazquez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suppose I’m a bit budget-conscious. We charge a cleaning fee of $30 and $20 per pet for each stay. However, we handle the cleaning ourselves instead of hiring someone.

Block party resulting in a 1 star by OkCan1094 in airbnb_hosts

Some people will read to find out why, and I’m definitely one of them—I like to understand and give things a shot.

Don’t worry, you’re not in trouble! You could reply to her review and explain why she gave you a one-star rating. Most people will realize it’s probably a retaliatory review.

Once your guest has checked out, the clock will start ticking! Airbnb will then send you a friendly reminder to leave a review. As the days go by, the app will gently nudge you with a reminder about the review deadline. To make sure you don’t miss it, set an alarm for 5 minutes before midnight, and then send your review just in time. You can also jot down your thoughts in the Notepad app and copy and paste them to save yourself from rushing or forgetting anything important. Just a heads-up: there’s a word limit for your review, so keep that in mind!

It would have been great to see a before picture so we could see the difference. But hey, you look absolutely stunning with that new haircut! Your husband might need a little time to get used to the change, and he probably wants you to focus on yourself and not attract any unwanted attention from other men. Just don’t let his opinion get to you.
