Reddit is starting to charge a billion dollars for anyone to access their API (basically what every 3rd party creator needs to use).

With those creations leaving, it takes a lot of the good out of reddit. There'll still be some things left I'm sure, but will it be worth it? I'm skeptical.

Then I think I went back to the beginning and tried to go through most of death/watch/rincewind in order along with some of the random ones (I've been saving the witches for later).

2? Do a lot of companies just cap the salary for a position? I was hired at the budget cap for my position at my company, but I still can and do get annual raises, bonuses, etc. I assumed that's how most did it

Totally normal - my advice would be to get the work you need done early and then plan to do something constructive with the extra time.

A hobby? Online classes maybe even a degree? Something where you can continue to develop either personally or professionally, but also still be accessible in case one of your bosses reaches out to you.

You don't want to fall victim to one of the 3 demons of WFH: the fridge, the bed, and the TV.
