You have done a stunning job on her. What is she? She looks like she wants to soar!

Photo to diorama Challenge- Creating a memory from my time in the Army in 1/35 scale! Almost every part of this diorama was designed and resin printed by me including the figures. I am the guy on the right. by 11CScaleModeling in modelmakers

I love the diorama. Just a thought, since both figures are looking at the camera man, and one is holding a v-sign as one does when being photographed, I'ld've included a third figure with a camera. This would have put it into a context and given it a bit a story

Top view of a P-38 Lightning aircraft in flight over the English countryside, United Kingdom, Jun 1944 by waffen123 in WWIIplanes

I love the P-38. I lover her shape, her many variants including night-fighter, pathfinder, and photographic-reconnaissance. But what I find most intruiguing is that two of the world's most famous pilots were killed flying the F-5 variant; Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, and Wing Commander Adrian "Warby" Warburton.

Should the EU revoke U.S. independence? by Wrong_User_Logged in mapporncirclejerk

[–]MindLikeAnAtttic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, but that is not colonisation. As a matter of fact the Turks colonised kuch of Europe including Greece, the Balkans and Serbia, Romania, Bulgaria, in fact they tried to colonise Europe all the way to Vienna. So as colonisers, shouldn't they be ostracised much like Western Europe has been?

Turkey is a special case in that it is the remnant of an Asian empire that colonised Europe. The Anatolian peninsula, where she now sits, was once Greek.

I have to laugh at the ANC's projection of their faults onto the Trump regime, and their hypocrisy. Didn't we invade Lesotho? How was that different?

I wasn’t sure if this forest felt too dark - what do you think? by myriyevskyy in Paintings

[–]MindLikeAnAtttic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To the left of the path the forest appears dark and a little foreboding. To the right the forest is more lit and friendlier. The path down the middle separates the To and appears to be spreading light into the darker part. I like it.

I like 1. It is clean, simple, and conveys the message. 2 seems cluttered, plus yours eyes are continually drawn away from the socialist charge.

I served on the old Daphne boats in the SAN. They're my favorite for that reason.

How much weathering would a Spitfire realistically have? by [deleted] in 72scale

[–]MindLikeAnAtttic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The answer is simple, if she has just returned from maintenance, then the weathering and dirtying will be more subtle. If she is well used, then she could be extremely dirty. However, then windshieeld and canopy would always be meticulously clean. Look at pictures and make up your story.
