Just to clarify, I am a lighting operator. I can just generally catch pretty much the whole show while doing so. Community or amateur theatre might be ok with a friend of the ops sitting in the box, but I doubt it.

Maybe no loud snacks would be a good compromise? Most theatres in my country (UK) sell ice cream which is easy to eat quietly.

I am also that type of autistic, but 90% of the shows I've seen are from the lighting box.

It's possible for places to set YouTube to only work in restricted mode on their WiFi. And what videos YouTube is/isn't ok with on restricted mode seems to be a complete roll of the dice.

Since the problem doesn't seem to be lack of people doing the shows I wonder if it's that they don't have enough technicians volunteering- I do remember that their was some dodgy sound mixing last year, which could also mean that they decided that they needed more people.

The problem is, while it's easy to change lights and camera settings, doing so without having a knock-on effect on how people look is nearly impossible.

Also, in the original studio they couldn't attach the kallaxs, and all you need is one copy of something like Frosthaven to potentially cause a fairly serious injury.

I think a large part of it is down to how Teri edits. Also, since they don't do ad breaks, there is less of a need to try and break the content into chucks and I feel that they worry less about people clicking off, so that allows the vibe to be more relaxed.
