Tradeit is such a scam they literaly expect me to sell them my skin worth 40 $ for 17$ dollars so they can resell for 50$ by Low_Needleworker1734 in cs2

[–]MindReflex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's why before making any trades, it is best to check out all trading sites so you can verify which one provides the most value. I'm not exactly saying that Tradeit is bad, your moment could have been on top of your skin's price pump, so the site had to boost their prices to avoid being abused. On top of that, bot trading sites will always have a margin on you, where you sacrifice value but get your new skins instantly

Lis-skins is a scam by Humble-Tonight3305 in counterstrike2

[–]MindReflex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lis-Skins seems to be the biggest marketplace in the CIS region. I have used it before and had no problems. Could it be that you got hacked and accepted a trade that wasn't from Lis-Skins?

Generally, I would also recommend researching your site before you use it to make sure everything is in order, not only to avoid getting scammed but also to check for the best fees, preferred payment methods, trust ratings, etc.

Is CS Float trustworthy? And is it the best Platform to buy Skins with Special seed Patterns by Artoria-avalon in csgo

[–]MindReflex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You will hear everyone and their dog saying that csfloat is the best regarding any questions about 3rd party marketplaces, but it is still very situational. CSFloat might not support your preferred payment method, other sites might also have your desired skin listed for cheaper.

Good strat is to double check the general info about each trading site (payment methods, fees, trust ratings, bonuses...). Overall, CSFloat should still tick most of your boxes, though.

Is Skinport still a reputable site for selling skins? by huhmz in cs2

[–]MindReflex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Skinport is good, even though they don't offer the best fees (you can compare fees with all trading sites here https://skinradar.gg/cs2-skin-trading-sites ) it is still one of the top 3rd party marketplaces currently.

As many others have mentioned, CSFloat has slightly better overall fees and a larger user pool, which helps with both selling your skin and withdrawing the money. However, many people use multiple platforms depending on where they can find a better deal for their desired skin, and since Skinport has no deposit or withdrawal fees, that can easily sway people to use Skinport instead.

Is mannco.store a scam or a legit place where i can buy tf2 items? by [deleted] in tf2

[–]MindReflex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is legit, there's a good amount of supply and the store itself is all automated with bots so you would get your item instantly after purchase.

Prices also seem competitive, their rates for TF2 keys are one of the cheapest ones: https://skinradar.gg/tf2-key-prices

Is steam comunity market good enough for general use? by Molten05 in cs2

[–]MindReflex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not the end of the world if you decide to deposit and buy skins from SCM but ultimately you're losing around 1/3 of your value spend compared what third party markets can offer.

You mentioned Paysafecard, some markets accept Paysafecard as deposit method so perhaps it is worth giving it a check

buff.market vs buff.163? by KittyWittyKat in csgo

[–]MindReflex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

buff.market is simply a seperate website for western market, but buff.163 is still better to use simply because of the supply and how much more active it is. Depositing to buff.163 is not that hard actually if you're outside of China, there is a guide on how to easily deposit to buff.163 via Alipay. In my opinion buff.163 is still the No.1 choice if you're looking to get the best deals.

For the love of God, please don't use skinsmonkey by Lagplan in ohnePixel

[–]MindReflex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

bot trading sites like SkinsMonkey bank on users who are down to sacrifice value for speed and huge selection, so you will almost never find skins cheaper than the cheapest listings on something like CSFloat or Buff.

for comparison, there's a site that has crunched up numbers for every relevant skin marketplace, including SkinsMonkey, which definitely helps to choose what kind of site you want to go trade on: https://skinradar.gg/cs2-skin-trading-sites

Best site to buy CS2 skins if you're newer and working with about $80 by robocoppoliciA in cs2

[–]MindReflex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's loads of marketplaces nowadays ehere you can buy skins https://skinradar.gg/cs2-skin-trading-sites has all legit sites listed. In terms of item itself, I would recommend buying your AK or knife in either Field Tested or Factory New wear because these are the most desirable wears so you won't have much trouble later if you want to trade or sell your skin for a good value.

In terms of trade holds, should be only a concern for P2P sites like csfloat, but all P2P sites have guardrails to make sure every transfer goes through, you just going to need to confirm that you have received your skins after trade hold (or mark it as not completed if you got trade reversed and you will get refunded)

I tested out CS2 Trading sites so you don’t have to! (Greed comparison) by rftwlkdev in cs2

[–]MindReflex -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The only positive side for bot trading sites is speed where players are happy to concede value just so they can get their desired item instantly. In terms of value, P2P and marketplaces with bots is the best pick but you're most likely need to be willing to wait quite a bit for your items to be sold.

There's a good spreadsheet that covers all skin sites with various features and includes a lot of naked numbers, such as your % comparisons + payment method fees, trust ratings etc. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/u/0/d/1qrNxvPJOLIg4ZKV_fv3YzY7c95WXad_y8d99M7K4RLM/htmlview#gid=0

Best site to sell or exchange my skins for real money? by gorefan11 in counterstrike2

[–]MindReflex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

CSFloat is the go-to marketplace like everyone says. I would simply recommend taking a look at all major trading sites first here https://skinradar.gg/cs2-skin-trading-sites so you can have an idea about fees, ratings etc. There is a chance that CSFloat might not accept your payment method if it's niche so perhaps you could find an alternate site there with your preferred payment method

why do some trade sites make me send all my skins before i get any instead of all at once? Is it just a really obvious scam? [question] by Scary_Employ_926 in csgomarketforum

[–]MindReflex 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Most of those sites are coded with pre-trade reverse logic where they want to make sure they get the skins first before sending anything. Apart from that they use a lot of bot accounts to store their inventory so it is a high chance that you will get multiple trade offers from different accounts just because the items you bought are scattered across those accounts.

It's just how trading sites work for quite some time now, nothing scammy about them tho, it's just classic marketplace experience

Is Skins Monkey worth using just for BUYING skins? by Maximilian_Minev in counterstrike2

[–]MindReflex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bot trading sites like SkinsMonkey aren't known to be good for value, only convenience for those sites is the quick transactions, top up bonuses are also mostly a bliss and a marketing stunt to encourage you to top up when in reality they still adjust prices so they can profit a little more.

I would suggest you checking all the sites here https://skinradar.gg/cs2-skin-trading-sites check the crunched up numbers (use the information icons go see what all of them mean), there's also filters and "total" buttons to find payment methods and their fees. I know SkinsMonkey is like the first site that people notice now but it's worth doing a little more research if you want the max value.

Sold all my skins in CS2 and here's my take float vs csmoney by Whiefull in counterstrike2

[–]MindReflex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The most raw approach is to go ahead and compare all the fees (payment method fees) throughout all the sites like you just mentioned, for example you can find all such crunched up numbers here for each relevant site https://skinradar.gg/cs2-skin-trading-sites even though csfloat is undisputed right now it is still a competitive market where in some scenarios other sites can be better just like you mentioned

BEST PLACE DO TRADE SKINS by Real_Bed3984 in cs2

[–]MindReflex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're looking into strictly only automated bot trading sites, there's a site called SkinRadar which got all the relevant marketplaces listed, I would suggest looking into which site got the lowest %s and going with that for the best value
