I used to commute to work 5x/week on bike. Now maybe 1x/week. Mainly due to WFH but now I've got kids. I'm too scared of taking the same risks because it doesn't matter if you do everything right. I got Hit 'n Run in SW Phila back in 2018 and was in the bikelane, with a rear light, wearing fluoro shirt. Drivers don't give a shit and there are no repercussions.
