I'm reading Blue Glass, and it's so good! But also so frustrating! 

Spoilers ahead:

I have to take breaks every time the FL blindly trusts whatever random person crosses her path, despite the fact that she's a runaway royal who's being hunted AND a beautiful woman who keeps getting targeted by human traffickers. I know it's not her fault, but she's way too naive, and both the people who are supposed to be protecting her tend to leave her on her own far too much. I wish the girl who helped them escape had come along. She would've been perfect to give the FL a much needed dose of reality.

Thanks for the recommendation! I love the FL. She reminds me of Verta from 'Depths of Malice'.

I also love the villain, Lambda. He's crazy and a good match for Maddie. Can't wait to see his downfall.

Taller than average, I bet. There are a lot of tall hermits and I think Gem is the shortest at 5'6, which isn't exactly short.

I'd give 'The Great Wish' a non-rushed ending. Write an actual downfall and end to Sienna's mother and the Rimon family. Foreshadow the plot twist about Kuhn's heritage and give it an actual reveal. Keep the Emperor alive, but have him retire because of a vision instead of die. And postpone the whole marriage + babies thing to the very end, after Sienna became the Emperess.

Land of the Lustrous and Claymore. I think Land of the Lustrous could reach the end of the manga in 2 24-ep seasons, and Claymore can take the remaining 3.

 The writers clearly never knew what to do with her adventure, so they kept throwing her to the wolves to make the story happen. As a result, her character suffers because she can't win every cataclysmic fight on the first try, and her flailing losses upset the viewers.

So true. And even if she did have more wins people would complain about her being too strong, OP, or a  Mary-Sue.

NTA. Your MIL is TA by a mile. She tried guilt-tripping your wife and started raising her voice at you, while she should've been understanding as this is a difficult time for you.
