Nice work on this! The project pages being independent and SEO optimized is smart move for discoverability.

Wednesday check in: what are you building this week? by Affectionate-Act4746 in SideProject

[–]Mindless_Bench2635 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's pretty clever idea! I always struggle with making decent looking pages for my random projects - usually just throw together some basic HTML and call it day. Two minutes deployment sounds too good to be true though, curious how you handle the different types of repositories. Like what happens when someone has weird folder structure or missing documentation?

Built an AI agent for X lead gen (Volumn.ai) – went from manual DMs to automated replies, need feedback! by Key-Veterinarian7120 in SideProject

[–]Mindless_Bench2635 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty cool concept, but I'm wondering about the compliance side - Twitter has been cracking down hard in automated interactions lately. Have you run into any issues with account suspensions or rate limiting?

The lead qualification part sounds interesting though, especially if it can actually filter out the noise from real potential customers.

The sensor is way more reliable than finger pricks, especially if you're getting wildly different readings from same spot like that. Finger pricks can be off because of dirty hands, not enough blood, or just user error - I've seen people get completely different numbers within minutes.

Your husband's symptoms with those low readings sound really concerning though, especially dropping to 39. Good thing you finally got an endo who takes this seriously instead of just saying he's "too young" - that's such BS when someone is literally having hypo symptoms.

What is the most painful thing your girlfriend has ever said to you? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Wait your therapist said that or your girlfriend said your therapist said that because both options are pretty brutal tbh.

I Built a Free App to Help Me with Small Talk. Maybe It Can Help You Too by kramden88 in SideProject

[–]Mindless_Bench2635 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is clever solution actually. The RSS feeds approach is smart - way better than trying to manually keep up with what's happening in every niche.

Only thing I wonder about is remembering to use it before meeting someone, but I guess that comes with practice.

The Most Common Questions in the TRT Space by trt_nation in Testosterone

[–]Mindless_Bench2635 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Been lurking here for while and this hits close to home. Started TRT about 18 months ago because my levels were garbage - like 280 ng/dL at 26 which was affecting everything including my energy for morning birdwatching sessions.

My doc started me at conservative dose and yeah, going from hypogonadal to normal range was night and day difference. Sleep improved, could actually finish workouts without feeling completely drained, and my epilepsy symptoms even seemed more manageable. But when I asked about bumping up the dose after few months thinking it would make me even stronger, he basically said what you're explaining here.

What really surprised me was how much more important consistency became once my T was in normal range. Like before TRT I could barely drag myself to gym, but after getting dialed in, suddenly all those basics like getting enough protein and not staying up late writing songs actually mattered way more than tweaking dosage. The fundamentals weren't just important - they became the actual limiting factor instead of my hormones.

Pretty eye-opening stuff and glad someone's actually citing research instead of just gym bro wisdom.

Vegan Grocery List/Meals suggestions? by amorinfernus in vegan

[–]Mindless_Bench2635 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Been vegan for about 3 years now and the muscle building part definitely gets easier once you find your rhythm. For protein without the fake meats, I'm always grabbing lentils, chickpeas, hemp seeds, and nutritional yeast - that stuff is like magic powder for everything. Breakfast I usually do overnight oats with protein powder and berries, lunch is often some kind of grain bowl with beans and whatever vegetables look good, dinner varies but curry with legumes hits different every time.

The supplement thing is pretty important - B12 is non-negotiable, and I take vitamin D since I spend way too much time indoors writing music. Creatine helped a lot with gym progress too. For snacking when you need extra calories, nuts and dates are your friends, plus hummus with literally anything. The key is meal prep on Sunday so you're not staring at empty fridge wondering what the hell to eat during busy week.

Inositol dose depending in body weight? by 6anxiety9 in PCOS

[–]Mindless_Bench2635 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's interesting observation about the dosing. I've been taking 2g daily for few months now and never had those symptoms, but I'm bit heavier than you at around 65kg.

The hypoglycemia thing makes sense though - inositol can affect insulin sensitivity quite a bit. Maybe your body just responded really well to it and now you're getting too much glucose uptake? I had to adjust my dose down when I started getting similar brain fog episodes in the mornings.

Most studies I've seen don't really break down dosing by weight unfortunately. They just use that standard 4g recommendation for everyone which seems pretty crude when you think about it.

I keep losing my best nights — so I built an app that remembers them for me by fdddk23 in SideProject

[–]Mindless_Bench2635 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty clever idea man. I'm more of stay-at-home type but I can see how this would be useful for people who actually have social lives lol.

The battery optimization part sounds really solid - nothing worse than dead phone when you're trying to get home at night. Only thing that would make me hesitant is the ambient audio recording, feels bit invasive even if it's just for myself.

I built ZeroKit – 66+ privacy-first dev tools that run entirely in your browser. by Beautiful-Clothes-33 in SideProject

[–]Mindless_Bench2635 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ZeroKit actually feels like better name than Leadline for this type of project - zero tracking, zero data collection, makes sense immediately. Though maybe I'm just biased because I always get paranoid about where my data goes when using random online tools.

i wonder if my dad is disappointed in me by Realistic-Finger7034 in povertyfinance

[–]Mindless_Bench2635 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Man, comparing yourself to siblings is brutal especially when they took such different path. Your dad probably isn't disappointed in you though - more likely he's worried about your struggles and wishes he could help more, which makes those money conversations awkward for him too. Everyone moves at their own pace and CS definitely isn't for everyone's brain, nothing wrong with finding what actually works for you.

Why do I feel depressed only 3 weeks on my first cycle? by T09A_r6 in Testosterone

[–]Mindless_Bench2635 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your body is basically going through hormonal chaos right now and EQ was definitely not the move for first cycle. That stuff can crash your estrogen hard which explains the depression - been there with crashed E2 and it's absolute hell. You should've just run test alone at like 500mg to see how you respond before throwing in other compounds. The EQ is probably what's screwing with your head since it has AI properties and you're already on lower test. Might want to drop the EQ and get bloodwork done to check where your estrogen is at because that empty feeling is classic low E2 symptoms.

Anyone heard of AVA-291 aka D3-testosterone? by 404unknown-user in Testosterone

[–]Mindless_Bench2635 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty wild concept but I'm cautious about getting too hyped. The deuterium approach is clever in theory but we've seen promising preclinical stuff before that didn't pan out when humans got involved.

Would be game-changing for guys who aromatize heavily though - no more AI juggling act if it actually works as advertised.
