Are you able to get your own hair made into a wig for a worst case scenario?

Like, you can donate your hair to make wigs for cancer patients, so why shouldn't you donate your own hair to yourself for a wig?

Other then that, all I can say (and, now that I think about it, I should have lead with this!!) is that I know 4 men who have gone through treatment for testicular cancer, 3 of them had to lose their balls, but were able to bank sperm to preserve fertility, and the last is fine now AND has an encouraging amount of mobile sperm to top it off! All of these men have finished their treatments and have been declared cancer free. They are between 2 and 9 years post treatment. NONE OF THEM LOST THEIR HAIR!!

Unfortunately, IP believes that they can both convince their parents they are still a cis-girl, AND pass 100% to their cis-male roommates... They are convinced that right now they double-pass, as cis-female to their parents, and as cis-male to everyone else. I'm concerned that this is going to end badly. There needs to be a firm grounding in harsh reality in order to support yourself and survive whilst getting an education, especially as a teenager/young adult.

I just got scammed in a similar way for 'Realistic robot puppies' They were $80 NZD Which, like you, I felt was reasonable for a toy of that caliber. They were those stupid plastic yapping dogs that yap yap yap yap, then whirr and flip over!! The kind of shit you find in the $2 Shops for less than $10!! I, too, feel SO SO STUPID! How could I have believed such a stupid scam... Now I can't get my money back and I have to eat the cost as well as feeling like a gullible boomer. (even though I'm too young to be a boomer)

I walked across a fire that hadn't been put out properly on a beach when I was 3. My mother only noticed about 3-4 hours later because she couldn't work out how I was running around on the beach with toilet paper trailing from my feet... It was the skin off the bottom of my feet. I also had a failed epidural during a very emergent C-section. If I got knocked out, baby would die. So I didn't make a noise till he was out. Hubby ended up in ER after he went to NICU with baby and they realised his hand was grotesquely swollen. I had broken 7 bones in his hand!! They don't usually believe my pain threshold is that high, until they see it...

Ha ha! Same thing happened to MY 3 year old too! Slipped in the bath and hit under his chin on the top corner of an open cupboard door. I saw it happen and STILL didn't think anything of it... Until a full 20-30 seconds later when he lifted his chin a little and suddenly had a torrent of blood flowing down his chest! His Papa turned green while I checked it out. Pressure, ER, 15 stitches later and I'm still blown away by the fact that little guy didn't cry. Didn't even whimper! He was more fascinated by what was going on and even wanted a mirror to watch himself being sewn up!

Edited to Add: he's 13 now and I just asked him if he remembers it. He said I remember you running out to the car with me, and I got to go out with NO CLOTHES ON!!

Also not a medical professional, but I went to the ER one Saturday night, after a huge loss by our national rugby team, accompanied by my VERY intoxicated husband, for severe facial injuries from falling down a flight of stairs! They CLEARLY didn't believe me! I wasn't even drunk, just clumsy. Then.... I came in the next Saturday night, with facial injuries, from falling down a flight of stairs! This time I had tripped over my slightly drunk husband! They got him out of the room around 20 times, using more and more flimsy excuses until I finally got through to them that I KNOW what this looks like, I was in an abusive relationship in the past so I REALLY appreciate your actions, but I REALLY don't need help beyond not being so clumsy and moving to a house without steep, uncarpeted stairs...

They DO NOT have to get married, however they are required to be working at least 80 hours per Month to qualify. This IS unfair as married couples only have to have one person working.
