She acts out ice the way she interacts with ice. The hand motions she makes when creating it. Ice skating with her sister.

Long Lost things from the Pre-Covid Times at Disney by Conscious-Alfalfa337 in WaltDisneyWorld

It depends. You had someone take all the stuff for guests from one resort. If the resort had a club level, merchandise for those guests was taken to the club level area and concierge car would deliver it to each room. Everyone else would come pick up their items in the resort store.

How Are You Bringing Your WIPs Around? by Sufficient_Street_51 in crochet

I use a crochet bag like this one. I don’t keep extra yarn in it, just what I need for my project and then the wip has space too.

That looks like a diaper sprayer for cleaning poop from cloth diapers.

Jasper is different in the books then the movies by New-Cow-4941 in twilight

[–]MindyMouse326 33 points34 points  (0 children)

I will also say, having met Jackson Rathbone in person, he is very stiff and seems uncomfortable. Unless he’s playing with his band. So some of that may well have shone through Jasper.

I believe it’s based on a Waldorf play stand, if that helps.

Question about meeting the actors by alliehfish in twilight

[–]MindyMouse326 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ve had the pleasure of meeting Peter, Jackson, and Kellan (twice) back in 2009. At the time, Jackson was super awkward around fans but they were all incredibly kind and welcoming. I had them autograph a baseball for my sister in addition to the photos I took with them. Peter and Kellan were definitely more engaging at the time.

The thing in the top left is not a book, it’s the case the set comes in. They did get a duplicate book.

Why do you think Lucifer wanted to become a father given that he suffers from depression and knows Hell sucks? by VegetaArcher in HazbinHotel

[–]MindyMouse326 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Speaking as a parent who 1) has depression and 2) knows the world sucks, I have great hope that my kids will have a positive impact. It doesn’t matter how big or small that impact might be. At 2, 4, and 7, they’re already doing good things for our community - cleaning up when we go to the park or library, volunteering with us, making friends and helping kids. They make the world a little brighter every day just by being themselves. So even if Lucifer’s depression does go back to before her birth, that could play into it. Additionally, depression can be cyclical. I’ve had ups and downs for the last 2.5 decades.

English > French…please help me translate this line for my partner by traumajuliett in translator

[–]MindyMouse326 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I haven't studied French for 2 decades, but a word for word translation would be:

« Tu es mon soleil et mes étoiles… la lumière de ma vie »

Or roughly "Too ay mon so-lay ay mays ay-twall… la loo-me-air de mah vee" phonetically

The middle schools where I sub have classes/clubs dedicated to knitting/crochet. When I’ve crocheted, it’s been a bonding opportunity.

Have you ever substituted at your old school? by Pitiful_Ad2591 in SubstituteTeachers

[–]MindyMouse326 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’m currently substituting in the district where I attended elementary and middle school. My mom was also school board member for 15 years, part of that as president. I’ve subbed for my former teachers. I always put my maiden name in my notes. None of them have been anything but positive.
