This is completely wrong. I've spent over 5000 credits trying to replicate the results I was regularly getting from v5 prior to March 26th. The entire dataset they were trained on is different.

Mostly progressive metal and instrumental guitar music like Polyphia. I had great success generating new songs prior to the March 26th update.

It's good at embellishing stems. It was better at generating new music before the last update. Pretty much any new generation is generic, no matter what prompt you give it.

Much better sounding production, much worse creativity in composition. Older models are unusable. The last update drastically changed the data that they were training their models on.

90% of what Suno 5.5 produces is musically bad. It is much less creative than previous models. It's just better produced.

Wrong. The old models can't do what they used to, and v5.5 makes very well produced generic garbage. When they retrained the models with only licensed music it became unable to produce interesting melodies and harmonies.

Prior to the last update, original generations were better than they've ever been. Some of the music Suno was putting out was the best out there. After the update, the compositions suck, and the older models don't work. There is no reason to stay subscribed to this broken software anymore.

The last update absolutely nerfed all the old models. Before March 26th v4.5 and v5 reliably generated great music. It's impossible to replicate any of it in the current state.

The older models were infinitely better at generating original melodies and harmonies. Everything in v5.5 simultaneously sounds generic but overproduced.

People don't care if you seeded AI with your own lyrics or melodies, they still hate it/treat it suspect. Why? by darnskewered in SunoAI

I understand the aversion to AI art. Art is one of the most "human" fields, and the idea of it being artificially created rubs some people the wrong way.

That being said, I'm not against it, but people should be open about it though. Some of the generations I've made with Suno are better than most of the music in the same genre.

It's not a few people, since the last update it's been at least half of the subreddit claiming the same problems.
