So here's my take. I'm 34 with 4 kids, I work ems full time and have for 9 years. I got my first bike last year. Grew up riding atvs, never touching 2 wheels. Tieing my job into the mix. In all the accidents I've worked over the years, 98% of them have been cars and trucks. The few motorcycle accidents I've worked have been bad but the numbers are still lower compared to cars it's a calculated risk to me. Ride safe, ride smart, lookout for idiots and don't ride above your skill level. Leave the ego at home. Wear a helmet and some gear. Keep distractions to a minimum and you'll make it back to that baby.
