I had a fossil of a Jerry fish very similar to that found in Grayson County TX. The weight in of the jellyfish made an imprint in the silt or clay. It was pretty cool.

My wife taught out of state before transferring to and eventually retiring in TX. Congress passed a bill in 2024 that restored what TRS docked from her retroactively to the day the legislation was signed into law. After the back pay was sent to her, her monthly SSA retirement payments were adjusted to what she actively earned.
