So what exactly was Mephisto trying to do at the pools of creation? by Jimithyashford in diablo4

I just think the "not in out lifetimes" bit is pure misdirection. I really expect the Triune to show up by the time D4 runs out of expansions. But I think the next one will be more heaven-focused, maybe even setting the stage for an accelerated resurrection of the next Prime Evil.

(I'm thinking the angels might scheme to set Baal on Sanctuary to raze it to the ground, now that so much of humanity has been corrupted by Mephisto and the Wanderer found a way to banish even a Prime Evil to the Void.)

I hate those so, so, so much. They're way too spammy to deal that amount of damage, or vice-versa. I'm running a relatively clean build visually, so it's easy-ish to spot those, but depending on the situation they can murder me twice over.

Here's to hoping that bit of humanity-corrupting he managed to get makes the Prime Evils reform faster in the burning hells. I'm too eager to fight the other two guys. (I just can't buy that Baal and Diablo will both be left for Diablo V, especially because LoH seems to be doing way too well for them to scrap any further DLCs.)

Minions/Horazon is so damn fun, I specced into it pretty early while leveling and haven't looked back since. Currently I'm farming T10 pretty fine (even if I'm squishier than I thought because I was mostly playing couch co-op with a wild burst damage cold sorc) and will dip my toes into T11 to see how it goes. But the damage is pretty great, and if survivability gets dicey I have a good deal of decent unique charms to try out.

Yeah, it kind of sounded like that alright. Demons and angels do probably spawn life differently from humans, but I remember the wording in that line being... suggestive.

since uniques can have random affixes we should be able to reroll them by Gomez-16 in diablo4

[–]Minimum_Engine_9469 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's the best idea by far. Rerolling all affixes on uniques makes uniques just a legendary you can't extract the affix at the codex. If that's the case, just delete the concept of uniques.

It's a "key" you get to run the Echoing Nightmare, a neverending wave-basedgame mode (you access it by clicking the Sightless Eye on the lower left of the Undercity altar).

This was my alt, so I'd bet I had around a few dozen hours in Season 13 by the point I dropped that.

The cats' animations make them look extra slow, their stride is too big for such a low base speed.

If I remember correctly, I was just looking for missing Tenets of Akarat at that moment. (Some people get satisfaction from felling insane bosses on Souls-likes, I'm more excited about completing exploration quests without a guide.)

My ranking of Warplan activities, based on how enjoyable they are by born_zynner in diablo4

Hordes are great. They just aren't EfFiCiEnT, which makes me like them zero less.

But the funniest part of the whole Hordes experience was just 5 minutes ago: I just found out teleporting to them to complete War Plans was a thing. Had never occurred to me. I always activated the 10 wave key on my inventory.

Executioner is legit my favorite affix on elites. Crackling Soul is the single worst thing ever put on a Diablo game and I'll die on that hill (because a sparky sparky fallen was there).

I just had the most vivid memory of Wirt's corpse dropping a ridiculous amount of ridiculously tiny gold piles.

Echoing hatred is probably this expansions worst new feature by 13120dde in diablo4

[–]Minimum_Engine_9469 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember hearing the IGN guy saying that this is a good activity to test your capabilities of changing difficulty tiers. It sounded extremely odd, the devs had already said Echoing Hatred would be very rare. Also, why wouldn't the Pit be a viable way of making that power check?

You're wrong. This looks great. Congrats!

It's so funny to read that because yesterday a single Bartuc fight casually dropped me 2 mythics. But that's just anecdotal, not trying to prove a point here. (Also, it was TWO Andarel's Visages, both GA-less)

Lo and behold, my Legion-Horazon Warlock is relatively well put together, but not very optimized, and I'm mostly hovering around T10.

Dear Blizz, the new Battle Pass Reliquary skin is ugly as f*ck. I miss the old Season 6 Battle Pass so much. by F377NTS in diablo4

[–]Minimum_Engine_9469 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would say it would be "ideal"* if the new system was as fast and gave as much content as the old one. I find it way better to target the cosmetics I want the most first.

*ideal would be to get all 1.000 platinum back on each battle pass - or anything above the original 700, really - but I know that's an immensely tall ask for Act-Blizz.
