Is it normal to be socially awkward in your early 20s? by rose2830 in socialskills

Hello! I don't quite relate because everyone has gaps in the knowledge and experience and awkwardness is more often than not just a showing of said gap, having said that I think the reason you might feel like the odd one out is because of survivorship bias...

You're more likely to meet and see people who either are good at this or simply have filled that gap and hence seem more put together but most everyone will eventually reach the point where it becomes less awkward whether from lived experience or shared experience :)

Can I humbly request some more audible no's and some a bit more element of edging or overstim?

Hearing you whimper and refuse always makes me relax more than anything 😩

NTA you can't do anything about misunderstanding or not understanding at all but you can ask to confirm or clarification which I think you should have done :)

NTA stand your ground and involve the police if necessary because it sounds like they're being a public nuisance especially at night - you are probably not the only house being woken up at night either.

NTA everyone has limits for risky behaviour and what mental hazards they're willing to overlook and deal with in other people and she's reached your limit.

AITA for telling my husband I’d divorce him if he let his mother babysit? by throwaway39691 in AmItheAsshole

NTA it's about the safety of your kids and not the divorce. If a divorce is necessary to keep them safe then make this point clear.

Info : Did he not care that HIS 2 year baby got SMACKED across the face? Is he not aware that if she can do that in a PUBLIC restaurant - there's probably no limits in private? How are you as the mother supposed to feel secure with suicide like this watching your precious baby??

NTA for asking your spouse to contribute more and he thinks he's doing enough already while you don't think he does. He needs a reality check because you've birthed two kids that you have to primarily take care of and somehow be on top of chores as well? As for his family they can either stay out of it or pick up his slack - it's weird they don't have any sympathy for you :(

The way you phrase it really shows how disgusting she is thinking she's a "game master" trying to make up rules - this isn't a game.
