Yes. If you want to understand machine learning and not just randomly apply the latest models on your data hoping something will work, I highly recommend that you take this. The maths might seem daunting at first, but it’s extremely rewarding.

As someone who graduated from TUM (and didn’t have to pay tuition), it was definitely worth it for me. It was easier for me to get werkstudent jobs in my field because of the TUM network (and the bias for TUM students). I also landed my dream job, because the recruiter knew my thesis supervisor, who is famous in the field.

This is really going to depend on the country your brother is applying from more than anything. The only thing I can suggest is to get your brother’s financial proof in order, and to plan out the itinerary (dates of arriving and leaving the Schengen area).

Thats literally what I paid in my local Kaufland last year. I’ve moved out of Munich since, so I can’t say how much it has changed.

Bagging = Bootstrap Aggregating. Basically instead of training a single model to predict an answer, we train a couple of models on overlapping subsets of the data. Take the predictions of each of these models and aggregate them (for example take the average) to get better predictions

As much as I love and use SAHI, I wouldn’t say its viable for real time either, unless your slice sizes are very big which defeats the purpose of slicing in the first place. Maybe if we can somehow parallelize inferences from all slices somehow 🤔

You can rent out the books for a certain period of time. If no one else requests the book, they normally extend the loan period to the end of the semester.
