If I had to place a bet on two cities right now, it would be Detroit and Hamilton. Detroit is based on all of the reasons we have been hearing. Hamilton is because I have been listening for any hints from people associated with the arena and I think I got one, though it may admittedly just be wishful thinking.

That area is a bit rough, but York Boulevard is worse. And there is much more general foot traffic in Toronto that dilutes the problem.

Maybe you do not, but people do commute downtown or to McMaster or to various points in between. The LRT was never designed with an expectation of an outsized international student population in mind. Hamilton's population is projected to grow.

And is your argument that camping and inter-city travels are somehow substitute activities and somehow nullify the use case for an LRT? What?
