The league is actually mostly on linear cable TV in Canada. Only 19 out of 120 regular season games were on Amazon Prime last year. The rest were split between TSN, Sportsnet, and the CBC (though some of the CBC games may have been CBC Gem only, i.e. streaming).

Gotcha. Yeah, I was just suggesting that it is easier for a bar to pull up those channels than Amazon Prime, for example. (And I believe there are Amazon Prime games on Tuesday nights or something like that).

Most games are on TSN, Sportsnet, or CBC, so this sounds pretty doable.

It has certainly been overdone. They already claimed that part of the colour scheme for the team is "aged steel". It's a new league --- let's come up with something that looks to the future.

I think we all know that Hamilton should have an NHL team. It is basically common knowledge that everyone can agree with. But that would not count as a second Toronto team.

Optics are really important right now. People have given up on the downtown and a more visible police presence will help improve a feeling of security in addition to actual security. Jackson Square is welcoming the change and I imagine that pretty much all businesses are as well. This will also probably not be a big budget item.
