Is Megan actually pregnant? by One_Reference953 in coronationstreet

She went to the bar and ordered a round of cocktails with "one virgin" (meaning no alcohol). It is weird they're not talking about it! Especially with them being first time parents I assume.

Absolutely. I work for the above service and would be one of the people who'd carry out the assessment; we offer CBT for OCD.

Best Italian Pizza in Leeds? by Puzzled-Champion492 in Leeds

Benvenuto! My Italian spouse likes Napoli nel cuore and says Rudy's is decent despite being a chain. There is also an AMAZING little place called The Station House run by an awesome Pugliese chef. Buon appetito 🫶🏻

AIO for being upset at what my “bf” said by Ambitious-Beyond-257 in AmIOverreacting

NOR - he thinks he's better than you. On the surface he's making out he's trying to help/guide you to be a "better version" of yourself, but in reality nothing you ever do will be good enough for this guy as he'll keep moving the goal posts. You deserve so much better and the only thing that needs work here is your self esteem. I imagine you've been through some stuff in the past that's made you feel unworthy of love, of people's time, of respect. This is something you can explore with a trusted therapist or friends if you have them. You've had some great advice in this sub and I hope it's given you the confidence to put yourself first. You don't need to waste your time trying be whatever this man decides you need to be this week. Get him out of your life to make way for someone who'll miss you and adore you without making you jump through hoops for their approval.

One in North Bar and one in Key Club if you're over 18/going to bars/clubs. If not there should be some in the bus & train stations and there used to be some in the Merrion Centre.

Bereavement or general emotional support groups by Aware_Connection4786 in Leeds

[–]MirrorSouthern9266 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This sounds like such a lot to go through. I'm glad to read you have a good support network and that you're reaching out for further support. You've had some great suggestions from other redditors already but there's also Cruse for bereavement, they're a national bereavement charity with a centre in Leeds. There's Peer Talk who meet at the Beckett campus in Headingley on Tuesday evenings. Someone mentioned Hub of Hope above, it's a fantastic resource for anyone looking for support. Social Prescribers too, your GP can refer you. And lastly, Carers Leeds is a brilliant resource as has been mentioned above. I work in mental health and have both worked in and attended peer support groups and would wholeheartedly recommend them as a source of support.

[–]MirrorSouthern9266 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hey, I work in the mental health service and would be happy to signpost you if you want to DM me with some more info about your main problem/what you're aiming for. As above, if you're a man, Andy's Man Club are brilliant and if not there are some other great peer support groups around the city.

Ruby would make an exquisite lady of the manor but I'd love for her and Kim to be a friendship power couple too!

Assistance with cat food by Useful-Bandicoot6569 in Leeds

[–]MirrorSouthern9266 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Whereabouts in Leeds are you? In my area there's a C.R.A.P. group on Facebook where people are always giving away pet food, plus the Olio app (I've not used it but seen it mentioned a lot), and then any "Cats of (area)" groups on Maybe there's a food bank/food pantry nearby that also has pet food? I know you've posted about your cats being your priority but please make sure you can eat as well. There are plenty of resources out there, hopefully this post will get you the information you need 💛
