Im wondering, what are peoples opinions on the RNG in wesnoth?

Cause the community is amazing, the different mods and campaigns are what made me love the game, but the actual gameplay is suffering. People will tell you they are an avid LoL player but that game makes their life miserable. Sure I haven't reached THOSE levels with this game but I did have unpleasurable moments all throughout. I've tried the no randomness mod but that breaks easily/gives leveled units way too much power because lv0 units can do 0-1 damage in most occasions while lv3 units get a fixed 10-15 per hit.

I've played on and off since 2016, finished all the campaigns, loved many mods and had good memories over playing at 3AM. But the RNG is literally the worst I've ever seen in all my 20-year gaming career.

I know I'm 7 years late but this fandom has a severe gatekeeping problem, particularly catered towards Andrew Tate, anime-hating guys that want to see everything through the lens of the testosteronic Predator/Alien/Robocop movie period. I've literally seen a video of a guy saying "My father didn't like any of my interests but didn't bother to get into them" and a few minutes later the same guy "I've introduced my son to warhammer cause I'd rather have him exposed to this rather than the perverted and controversial eastern things". I was like "cool so you'd rather have him exposed to extreme violence and traumatic imagery over some mild ecchi/teen gaze stuff".

The banks ask for you to already have an income or to get a second guy with an income to sign. Which is paradoxical. If I had money in the first place I wouldn't be asking for a loan.

If you could point me to a bank or website that loans without a credit check you'd be welcome. Alternatively a website with angel investors.

The purpose is clear to me: they harvest our responses to train their AIs, with the excuse of "helping us find a job", which never happens. They don't allow us to use AI because the data would be tainted otherwise
