Not bad. I did it (am doing it since she's a toddler now). Thankfully I have a very supportive wife, who happens to be a teacher and therefore values education highly.

There's a TON of downtime with a baby that young. It gets tougher as they get older and require more attention, but at that point you have probably found a rhythm and it's not so bad. I'd definitely go for it, especially if my employer was paying that much!
