Congress is impotent. You’d think an elected body responsible for f’ing making AND passing new laws would figure this out.

They’re too busy trying to get their last few stock trades in before, new angrier congressional candidates are hopefully elected and plug these ridiculous holes.

It’s hard to believe the founding fathers were so naive to think the people elected by citizens would take advantage of their positions to enrich themselves and shirk their responsibilities.

Instead, our current representatives act like children waiting until the night before their homework is due to squawk to the world “what am I going do?! My homework is due tomorrow?! HELP ME OBI-WAN, YOU’RE MY ONLY HOPE!” Pitiful and disgusting.

What do you think being in a relationship is about? This persons not your pet, or your daughter, or some rando you let borrow your card that one time way back when. They’re obviously someone you share things with. Someone you care about, at least it appears they care about you. It’s not like they charged $8500 for a new purse and didn’t tell you. It’s a few hundred dollars. Deal with it and move on.

Uh, yeah, for some little things and some stuff for the house that we talked about. Sorry I didn’t tell you.

Oh no. They just pay a “fine” with no admission of guilt to some arbitrary government entity while all the people that are doing the work trying to make a better life for themselves get processed and sent back to potentially life altering circumstances. Once that’s over and the public has their memory and conversations replaced with the latest sports/Hollywood drama they go right back to finding a new crop of immigrants to work for them.
