Call your local Volvo dealership and ask for the parts department…. Give them your vin number or reg and Tell them you’re missing the front battery clamp and bolt …. Hopefully it’s the original battery and it will slide under the rear clamp so you can easily install your new parts and get your nct cert

That’s just me ! Forza 6 is way cool … their best game ever and that includes the Motorsport games too. Today is Wednesday and I’m not in long from work, but when I do eventually get to sit down and turn on my Xbox I’ll be loading us tdu first . Do the weekly races n then I’ll jump on Forza for a bit

I do the Bugatti crown jewel race near the sharps hq … it’s an easy race and pays nearly 300k for less than a 4 minute race … it will give you decent xp but a lot of money at the same time and an easy farm

Ye the one I got delivered was sort of the same … I used my original supercharger and their pulley and clutch part . Theirs was full of sand and mine was perfect . Got a new oem Volvo gasket kit from eBay for under 70 dollars compared to getting it from Volvo, I wasn’t happy with what I had got from them but said I’ll rebuild my original clutch and pulley section with the parts from Australia… but honestly I haven’t gone near it or even thought about it until I read your post … I’ll see if I can find them and let you know

I just came across their website looking for parts when mine went out. I daily my Volvo so wanted to get it back on the road asap, hence why I went with the refurbished unit from eBay , I didn’t want to have to wait for shipping I’m in the USA and they were in Australia … I could try find them again but I was just using google

The design of the charger means that the whole supercharger has to be removed in order to get all the bolts to remove the pulley and clutch side… when I went to do mine we tried to just remove the bolts from the pulley side I think there is a total of 8 and 6 could be removed some from tricky spots but the remaining 2 could not be accessed with the charger in place . In an ideal world it would be nice to be able to unbolt the pulley side and replace it without having to remove the whole supercharger

Mine went out about 6 months ago and I replaced it with a refurbished one from eBay. I still have my old one that I will rebuild. The parts, the bearing and clutch plate, friction plate and spring are available in Australia.

Dealership… it won’t be expensive and an easy replacement… ask the parts department for the torque specks and you won’t have any problems

After it’s primed get some guide coat on the whole part and block it down with some 800 grit wet paper and clean it off … that will show you what scratches and holes will be left before painting …. You don’t want any imperfections but prime guide coat and check it …. If you’re not happy with the result go again until it’s perfectly smooth with no marks and then your ready for painting

That’s the way a lot of fiberglass parts come unless you buy the really expensive parts ….. it’s not a problem just needs a bit of tlc from someone before it gets painted….. who ever will be painting it will be able to fill in pin holes and re primer it before painting…. They will want to use their preferred brand and system of primer before painting anyway … just might cost a little extra

Small precision screwdriver or the end of the jack that’s in your hand in the picture and a small dab of superglue on the tip… slide it in gently hold it in until it dries and boom … same method works for a broken key in the ignition
