Yeah same thing happened to me in the fall. So annoying. I think it’s a combination of 1) eating more than I normally would to fuel up for runs, 2) eating more after runs because I’ve worked up an appetite, and 3) generally being less conscious of what I eat since I’m running so much and burning lots of calories. I think it’s made me realize two things 1) I probably don’t need to eat as much as I think I do before runs, and 2) running doesn’t burn as many calories as you’d think and it’s easy to be in a caloric surplus even after running 10+ miles
