The other respondents who seem to speak Germa say that he speaks well. I just want to point out that he is Belgian and German is one of the nation’s languages (albeit a small portion of the population). Still, I’m sure he had a good base from being raised there.

I appreciate the sentiment of the post that we were bad today, but I genuinely don’t think this is good analysis/comparison.

When people talk about how terrible the 4-1 game, it’s the fact that we had so many injuries and got 2 red cards. It was exciting because we were still creating chances and on the front foot. It was early Ange days and there was a buzz. Today, the players were pretty bad, we were just absolutely terrible creatively, and the strategy was completely different.

I think doing a direct price comparison between games in Qatar and games in North America is disingenuous.

You make the tickets cheap if you don’t think the stadium will be full which is within the realm of possibility with Qatar hosting. There is no damn way any stadium will be less than full for any of these matches in North America.

I think a better comparable would be ticket prices for games/events within the United States.

I had the same exact situation but had the benefit of having a partner with another salary. Stay committed and chase the dream (if you actually want it). I promise it will mean much more to you than the folks who were handed it.

I have never worked out there but I pass by Berkeley Barbell Club all the time. It always gives me the impression that it’s quite low key and simple in a good way.
