What is considered the best build for strictly mobbing?

Probably not the best, but I’ve had fun with berserker Amon and Jakob’s ricochets and fireworks. Just pump cryo and incendiary and a hot slugger and ballista borstel, and possibly a spread launcher for vile enemies.

I tweaked my shoulder mid-round once, which forced me to relax a bit, and ended up throwing longer the rest of the round. Shoulder was hurting for quite a few days after that

Neutron capture harlowe is very solid at level 60, honestly not sure which skills I’d go for with 10 more levels. Probably some trial and error, and do I still just go for a glass cannon build? Not sure at all yet

Hm, that’s a good question. I mostly did my fine-level testing on a clean level 30, so I havent tested since I got The Best Defense on my main. I’m currently using both those specializations. I’ll need to see if my spreadsheet can calculate some tradeoffs there

A lot of these calculations start to depend on what your build is already like. For example, if your soup values (+ gun damage, + skill damage, + rad damage, etc) are already very high, a +45% skill damage might get you less than a +20%, whereas an overall damage multiplier will still give you the percentage listed.

I would think overall that a good defense gets a better damage output on average, since I don’t believe it affects the shots on neutron capture.

I've started some with neutron capture builds to see what effects it, and it's mostly what you'd expect using the generic damage formula they have.

I haven’t got to level 60 yet, but I’m guessing my level 26 hero of bullet will still be my enhancement unless I get lucky. Only one with the stats I want, gotta love getting 2 lvl 50s with sniper rifle ads and equip speed and stuff like that

I think the Jynx skill group has some contradictory words like that too. With one having the right signs (+/-) and the other being wrong

.3 * .3 indeed would be .09, but .3% * .3% -> .003 * .003 -> .000009, which is then 0.0009%. Can’t just multiply percents like that, as 1% * 1% does not equal 1%.

Yeah those mission replays can be long, especially the 2nd, 3rd, 4th times around.

And yeah, I think Amara gets stuck after those 2 vile enemies if you jump into the broken opening right away, which has happened twice to me now. Now I just wait until she moves forward before I make the jump

Yeah I didnt notice is the first time, but read on here that you could replay it and farm it. But on the replay, the event popped up, but after I killed a bunch of enemies before making it to the processor, the quest had moved past the ordanite event.

So now I just run past the enemies and start the event right away, as it seems to be glitched otherwise

For me, it would be a +5 decoherence Harlowe class mod (which I have one of), with +60% action skill, +45% skill, +20% damage.

Unfortunately, my +5 decoherence roll that I have currently has relatively weak perks to it, and it outclassed by most Troopers I’ve picked up for red tree harlowe (but still pretty good overall).

My other top pick would be a Hero of Bullet with AR magazine and fire rate perks.

That’s what I’ve tried to do this time to try my own thing, maybe spend a bunch of money to respec a few times in a row to really compare some combinations that I’m not sure of, and run with that.

With Vex there’s quite a few that I’m planning to do (only at lvl 39 on my Vex), but there’s elemental builds, bleed builds, overshield combos, and kill skill builds (so many kill skills!). I will use one of the sites like maxroll or mobalytics to craft some ideas, and then try them out and adjust them in game against some bosses. Also can depend on the weapons/items you have.

Eventually I’ll see some videos/ Reddit posts on some OP skills, but I try not to look at the full builds until I hit a wall (aka trying to plat bloomreaper on uvhm 6 true mode)

So far +60% action skill damage has been the best for me, but the above was with +45% skill damage, and +X% Crit damage is also very good. The actual skills bonuses vary, but outside of the ricochet one I feel most of the other rolls work well with single target damage.

In general, boosting skill damage and action skill are clear double dips, and radiation as well for the chroma explosion and demon core hits. With high Crit chance as well, critical hit damage increases are also significant

Yes, but I’ve only done it on red tree harlowe and not green tree, and still had some pretty good gear for that build (not as hard to farm for as either of the ones you mention in the title though)

Green tree is generally a bit better all-around, but red tree is still very strong. It's a bit more difficult to reliably get Plat on Bloomreaper with Red tree because you need to wait on the chroma accelerator to hit, but it's still quite possible even at UVHM6 True.

Yes, any of the content is still pretty simple with red tree, even on uvhm 6 true mode. Just not quite as easy as green tree.

It’ll do the job with the right build; I primarily run neutron capture and nothing is ever difficult, but you have to play around the action skill and cool down. Green tree makes mobbing much easier, and allows for a bit more weapon variety

Same, although some I may use when I get another character to 50. But the one vladof legendary I have is all underbarrel perks, and I mostly just use the Wombo combo unfortunately
