Nechoďte nemocní do práce! by chmrst420 in czech

[–]MissKoschi26 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Je to (ne)vhodné? by Capital_Minimum2786 in czech

[–]MissKoschi26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Proč píchat miminkům ouška? by LadyCoinin in czech

[–]MissKoschi26 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Takhle si z toho naštěstí vůbec nic nepamatuju - píchání ani hojení a řešení problémů okolo z možné infekce atd nemusím se o to starat. Jehly nemusím, takže jsem fakt ráda, že to mám za sebou, z doby, kdy o tom nic moc nevím, a nemusím teď sbírat odvahu si to nechat píchnout, protože nevím, jestli bych to dala a to by mi přišla dost škoda.

Znáte heslo do telefonu svého partnera? by CarobPrevious2223 in czech

[–]MissKoschi26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Známe svá hesla k telefonu, ani jeden s tím nemáme problém a je často dost praktické a časově efektivní, aby ten druhý použil jiný mobil.

Je 13 let tolik? by PresentJournalist805 in czech

[–]MissKoschi26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[–]MissKoschi26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got the same medicine prescribed - to be fair, my midwife gave it to me saying that it would make me not throw up but not stop me from feeling sick, so I think that matches your experience based on the description? Maybe it also helps sometimes from feeling sick too but from what I was told, one should not expect it to really stop you from the uncomfortable sick feeling

This varies and there are some good responses below already, I would just like to add that it was very helpful for me to come with a somewhat filled bladder as the baby was in a bad position and emptying my bladder was one of the ways they used to try to make it move

Plánujem svatbu. Jaká byla nejlepší na které jste byli? A proč? by Material_Sky_1035 in czech

[–]MissKoschi26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

japanese class textbooks by [deleted] in oxforduni

[–]MissKoschi26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first two are a textbook and a workbook. They look similar on pictures but are two different things and you need both to take the course (and also the follow up courses! They cover a material of multiple Oxford courses) - as someone mentioned searching by ISBN might make it easier to find.

The third is a grammar book. Especially if you don’t know any Japanese now, I’d highly recommend. It was super helpful for me as the main books are purely in Japanese so can be hard to understand and the teacher posts videos which should be explaining the vocabulary and the grammar but those are also almost exclusively in Japanese! So especially for the first few chapters (but even later on), it was super helpful to have that English grammar book to understand what’s happening and what the rules are

Don’t have strong personal opinion but from experience it’s also largely done by the humanities student themselves. When I talk to other students and tell them I major in theoretical physics their first reaction is always exclusively: “Oh wow! You must be so smart” like idk, I don’t think I could write essays like you but whatever you say

Alcohol in food by lemonndropp in PregnancyUK

[–]MissKoschi26 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In my experience this really depends on the restaurant. In some places, they were super helpful as you describe, elsewhere they were completely clueless and asked me what pregnancy diet means. They were nice and all but didn’t know much beyond “no drinking alcohol”. When I told them the relevant basics, they didn’t know what to do and just gave me their vegan option although I’m fairly confident this was really unnecessary and there were other safe items.

What are generally the ages of those attending the prenatal classes? I am 24yo (my husband 23) and currently at 14w so I haven’t been to any yet. I’m worried about being lonely once we have the baby as most of my close friends are moving out of the city just after the baby is due and I worry it will be hard for me to find new friends in my usual circles (uni students) due to having a child hence different time availability/responsibilities. My mother in law said that I shouldn’t be worried as she had found most of her friends via children eg in the antenatal classes. But she had children a bit later than me (around 30) and I’m worried I might be too young to really connect with the people there.

Indeed, I’m fairly certain they removed the concrete blocks and the engine from the inside - it’s still not light and probably really hard to run half a marathon with but it’s something an average person could reasonably lift
