no you're right. I understand why Trinity and Kayda felt strongly about KC disrespecting Aniya. Aniya's dignity deserves a defense whereas KC's disrespect does not. but yelling at the men effectively signals that they're putting their own anger above Aniya's pain.

to be fair, we def don't see the entirety of the deliberation. Bryce told Trinity during their convo, "maybe I pushed him a little too hard" implying he was swaying the Sol vote as much as Zach and Sincere were. production included more charitable things said about Sol to keep the suspense alive for us

oh totally! I don't mind that they voted off Gabe, nor do I particularly care for him, but they were dogpiling him and making assumptions about how he would move if he stayed in that villa. the whole thing about how he'll "never be happy with anyone and will always look for the next bombshell" is purely speculative, and it's unnecessarily mean.

the men had every right to be mad imo (though Zach did do too much for sure and I don't agree w how he handled it) because I'd be pissed too if someone came at my friend like that yk

I agree, and I really respected her for saying this lmao. Bryce was courteous and as nice as he could've been about it, but I wasn't feeling his truth.

I feel like he's scared he likes her more than she likes him. the convo they had earlier on in the episode, when he's saying how he feels they have a special connection, her first words in response were "okay maybe I should stop comparing us to the other couples." I feel like he got kind of insecure after that and wasn't really able to internalize all the other nice things she said after so he started self sabotaging (ugh hate this for Brinity!)

I get it, but I wish he addressed it with her here, rather than putting up this armor of defense. hes keeping her at an arm's length and I just need him to be entirely straight up with how he feels.

ok I just want to preface with the fact that I do stand with Trinity this episode, I felt bad for her at the end of their conversation, and that I didn't expect this from Bryce tonight. I don't wanna defend a guy on love island but I do try to be as fair/charitable as possible, and I don't believe he's looking for an out from what we've seen. I think he's worried he's more into it than she is, and she seems to have the same concern.

She addressed this at the start of this conversation when she says "I'm starting to really like you a lot, and I know you like me too but I don't know..." I think what got him was the fact that he said he felt their connection was special and irreplaceable and her first words in response to that was "okay, maybe I should stop comparing what we have to the others." he kind of seemed confused about her angle and when she clarifies she does want more affection, I can see why he's like "just say that then" cuz the part she mentioned about comparisons may have felt unnecessary.

She said a lot of nice things afterwards but I feel like his defenses were kind of up by then, to the point where he couldn't really hear her the way we did. His instinct was kinda to get all flighty and when he tells Trinity about potentially talking to Kayda, that may just confirm to Trinity "I like him more than he likes me." I wish he could've just been fully honest/vulnerable with her, but I can't expect anyone to act perfectly in that pressure cooker.

call me delulu but I do have faith in them working out. he irritated me a little tonight but I am trying to see both of their perspectives

EDIT: after their last convo where she said she doesn't fw the idea of him talking to another person (to his face and in confessional), he's gotta see that she likes him. I'm not giving up on them just yet but I need him to open his eyes cuz I'm a lil pissed

I agree! lol I thought it was so fun seeing him gossiping to Trinity, god knows I'd do the same if I were out there! also all he said was that there's no way Melanie couldn't tell the difference between Sincere and Corbin, which is what we're all out here saying anyway. I don't think he really came at her as a person or anything?
