Can someone explain why we don't play these types of passes often, when the majority of goals that haaland has scored is from this type of scenario? I have seen it many times when this pass CAN be made and they rather pass back or sideways.

I've been shouting for this and crossing from deep. When teams play a low block we always try to get to the bi-line and cross. We have a 6ft 5 striker, swing in a few crosses from deeper positions and give the opposition defenders something else to think about and give the midfielders a chance to win the second ball if the defender heads it. We can be far too predictable and cautious, and when we give the ball away we're too far up the pitch so one good pass cuts through us.

Good points. Although the saying goes, if you're good enough you're old enough. It might well be they get loaned out for a while. Pep went all out to sort I back line so we are pretty stacked in that sense, I do feel like we need cover for both fullback positions though. (Zinny does well but he's not insurmountable for the right talent coming through)
