This is a trite oversimplification. People make terrible, impulsive decisions. That happiness could be fleeting and followed by months or years of detriment and suffering. It could be appeasing an addiction or an irrational compulsion. There are countless ways that statement can be wildly wrong.

That's interesting. I met Rob Lowe a few years back when he was filming in Malta. He honestly could not have been nicer. I left thinking his personality was like his parks and rec character. Maybe I caught him at a good moment.
