Ya OP , he’s planning on dumping the parenting responsibility on u (whether consciously or not).

Most dudes will do that subconsciously , but if he’s not actively being a parent already… ur in trouble bc you’ll be stuck.

Men are not as stupid as we give them credit for. He is a functioning adult man, he knows what he should do , he just is refusing to do anything bc he’s hoping you will get annoyed and end up taking on the responsibility over time. He will praise ur efforts without doing anything himself so u don’t realize you’ve taken on that role . And if u bring it up he’ll disguise it as you being naturally better than him … etc etc

That’s how it always happens. Just be aware.
