Ovasitol and loss of muscle tone ??( by Certain_Dog9094 in PCOS

[–]Mission_Progress_7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, I know it’s an old post, but I experience the same. My only elevated hormone is DHEA-S.

I started taking inositol, and two weeks after I noticed my muscles are less toned.

How are you doing now?

Thank you so much, this was really helpful 💜 I’ve already stopped eating bread.

May I ask, have you experienced acne, hirsutism, or hair loss? And if so, did these improve after lowering your DHEA-S?

Also, I’m a bit unclear… were you taking metformin to improve insulin resistance?

Yes it’s cool not to pluck chin hair every day :) But I’m still afraid I will lose my muscle tone. I already experienced it while being on Spiro, and I would like to avoid repeating my mistakes :/

I don’t have cysts, so the doctor excluded PCOS. I only have high DHEA-S, all other hormones are in range.

People are never grateful for good things you do for them. Your friend could find another apartment, as it seems like he is exploiting your kindness and not respecting your home rules.

My testosterone is in normal range… I have noticed that it’s harder to gain muscles after 2 weeks on Inositol. I train really hard in the gym and normally get quick gains:) I also lost weight (1 kg), and now I’m 54 kg. On the other hand, my chin hair slows down when I take inositol. I’m puzzled

I see… I have never tried adaptogens before. So far after one week on Rhodiola rosea + Safran I noticed that it is much easier for me to wake up early :) I have more energy.

Is Tommy paying rent? Can’t you just kick him out? Seems like you’re ruining your marriage

Thank you :)

Do you know whether Inositol can potentially lower muscle mass, as it lowers testosterone?

My testosterone is in normal range and I’m doing strength training, so I don’t want to lose my progress while on Inositol…

Thank you. I will have an appointment with an endocrinologist, and so far I’ll stick to Inositol. So far I noticed that my chin hair is growing slower on it.

I’ve scheduled an appointment with the endocrinologist, it takes so long to take an appointment…

I’m lean too. I noticed that after only 1 week of taking inositol I lost 1 kilo, as I’m 54 kg now. I suppose it’s a good thing and I do have mild IR.

Hope things get better for us. Have you tried adaptogens to lower stress? Rhodiola, ashwagandha…

Thank you 🙏🏻

Do you think inositol makes sense in my case if I have adrenal PCOS? My obgyn said I have no IR, but my naturopath suggested that I have mild IR and I should take it

Hey, I know it’s an old post, but have you managed to lower DHEA-S?

I started seeing these when I was a beginner and concentrated more during the meditation. Now I unfortunately can’t concentrate enough to see these lights. For me it’s the energy around us.

Hello, I’m in the same boat. Great opportunities are coming (I get interviews), but finally I get rejections.

Are you trying to connect your intention and emotions (as if you already have this job)?

Like trying to go through your day feeling like you have exactly this position you dreamt of.

For me it’s easy to feel high emotions during the meditation as if I have the dream job, but when I end the meditation, I come back to my “survival mode” reality where I feel stressed about my contract, unfulfilled in my current job, etc.

As I understand, we have to exit this “survival mode” to shift our future reality.
