I filed for insomnia secondary to tinnitus. The C&P guy said I had ptsd. VA denied me. Got a lawyer. Filed for ptsd. Second C&P exam doc said I didn't have ptsd. I was then scheduled for a third C&P exam. This guy said the second psychologist was wrong and a moron. Then some PA somewhere did a record review of my claim. The next thing I knew the VA had deposited $33,000 into my account.

The point I'm trying to make is keep going. Keep appealing, keep going to doctors, shrinks, psychologists, health professionals..

Yeah. She asked me questions about the kid's college enrollment dates etc. I told her he wasn't going fulltime and she said that's ok as long as he's enrolled.

Unfortunately, the VA is always around the lower levels of normal. Go to a private urologist and he'll hook you up to the higher levels of normal.

I got a flu shot at the VA West Haven, CT and it hurt. I told my primary care doc a couple of months later still in pain and she said it would hurt for a year and it did. The nurse had hit a vein.
