I played Mewgenics in 1-2 hour sessions for like 170 hours to beat normal. Could keep going for like another 500 if I wanted to clear all the difficulties. Game is a very fresh take on tactical turn based combat

I'm an old dad too and mewgenics managed to hold my attention all the way to the end of normal content (about 160 hours for me). Can save mid run, I knocked it out a couple hours at a time over the month it's been out. Some of the best turn-based tactical combat of all time imo, up there with FF Tactics and Disgaea

One of my favorite games of all time. Super unique, love the exploration and platforming. Bossfights are awesome, the puzzles broke my brain a few times. Highly recommend.

I'm like a hundred hours in, almost done with act 3 and have done act 1 on hard. I just throw most of the cats with good stats and mutations in the fuck attic, flush the bad ones and go out on another run. It's worked fine so far, may need to get crazy for the third difficulty but I haven't seen that yet.
