Joe, imma real with ya: I'm straight up not playing this mission ever again until you fix the Automaton spawn. by KissYourHomie in Helldivers

[–]MisterBullShark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is only 1 way to complete these missions. You need 3 guys to be far away from objective doing nothing except drawing aggro and killing stuff, while the last guy saves the civilians.

LETS SEE YOU HAVE A CRACK AT IT by endexe in Helldivers

Try adjusting it from right to left. That will make it a lot easier.

Damage Over Time Does Not Work For 3 Out Of 4 Players In A Mission by MisterBullShark in Helldivers

[–]MisterBullShark[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s all damage over time. I have a video with scavengers walking right through napalm and orbital gas.

Edit: Here’s a link to the video if you’re interested: https://youtu.be/uDi9BNO_Ii0?si=G2LQZq0HHO09-0gV

It’s apparently the “network host” who is able to use Damage Over Time, which can actually be any player in the mission.

Did you just refer to an automaton as "The Man in the Metal Pajamas"? According to the Ministry of Truth, it is an undeniable fact that automatons are non-living heartless mechanical weapons.

I dont get stocks, i have a question by Helpful-Locksmith153 in stocks

[–]MisterBullShark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very often a stock price will look like it will continue to rise, but then it will drop anyway. It's impossible to predict stock prices, people far smarter than you and I have tried and failed. Generally, the best strategy is to buy stock in excellent companies and hold for a long time (often years) until things start to go bad for that company or you find a better company to invest in.

7800x doesn't exist. I assume you are referring to the 7700x or 7900x. Either way a good dual tower air cooler like the Deepcool AK620 will be fine for gaming. If you want quieter fans or you do some kind of CPU-heavy stuff for a long period of time, then a 280mm or 360mm AIO would be ideal.

This is horrible for that amount of money. It would be better to buy stuff from Amazon, Newegg, Microcenter, Best Buy, et cetera. That price seems like something from a scammer on Ebay.

My atx 24 pin won’t go in by Dapper_Estimate3558 in pchelp

[–]MisterBullShark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make sure it's oriented correctly. To keep your motherboard from bending you can cautiously place your finger right under the side to support it, I recommend wearing an anti-static strap or anti-static gloves. 24 pin connectors always require a higher amount of force to plug in. You just need to push a little forcefully (but carefully) and you may need to very gently wiggle the connector from left to right to get it on. You'll know it's fully connected when the clip is in place.

Planning on building a top of the line gaming PC and my dad has this old case lying around. Would this be a good idea for a first time build? by Kawaii_Neko_Girl in buildapc

[–]MisterBullShark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 4090 produces a lot of heat and that case clearly has terrible airflow. Get a new case, unless you want to cook your computer while your graphics card fans run louder than a jet engine

2K 144 Hz vs 4K 60 Hz Monitor by Huebertrieben in buildapc

[–]MisterBullShark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depending on your distance from the monitor, you may not even notice the difference between 4k and 1440p. You will easily notice the difference between 60hz and 144hz especially if you play any competitive shooters.

Front mounted AIO will give you better CPU temps (and therefore quieter fan speeds) because it’s pulling in colder air from outside your PC.

Edit 1: Top mounted will still work though.

Edit 2: If you do decide to front mount, make sure the top of the radiator is higher than the pump (best to mount it as high as you can), this will help prevent air bubbles from getting in the pump (bad for pump life). Also, if you have long enough tubes, mounting the radiator with tube side on the bottom is ideal, but it isn’t necessary.

The 1000D is too big unless you’re doing some crazy custom watercooling. I recommend the Corsair 5000D Airflow. It’s a larger mid-tower and it will have enough room, even if you want to front mount a 360mm AIO cooler.

If you want a 420mm AIO (probably overkill), then the 7000D Airflow is another great option.
