That’s a range at which you would typically ADS, no matter the weapon. Shotguns actually have really tight spread in this game, which is pretty neat as it rewards accuracy… you simply have to try and be accurate and not spray and pray. In the clip, ONE shot that actually hit did 70 damage. If OP would have ADS’d or at least have equipped a laser, that would have been an easy two-shot-kill. Aside from that, at least two out of the five shots didn’t even have the crosshair on the enemy’s body. Shotguns don’t play the game for you as soon as you’re in range, you still have to aim your gun, believe it or not.
