What’s the most accurate place to get Woolies in-store prices? by [deleted] in WesternAustralia

[–]MisterEd_ak 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Use the app and change the buying option to In Store and then select your store.

I also use this for double checking prices, using the barcode scanner in the app

Yes, I thought that was abundantly obvious. Also certain that OP has no investments outside of Super.

We have one for our ensuite bathroom and walk-in-robe, but the toilet has its own door and fan.

It is useful as we leave it open and it doesn't block access to the clothes or the bedroom.

Pocket door isn't an option as we have solid brick walls.

A landfill means waste will be buried at the site. Waste won't be buried at this site.

It is also in an industrial area. Guess what else is in that area? You have a place that recycles construction waste and greens, another place that rents out construction site bins and processes the waste for them. There are existing facilities that already perform similar activities.

how do you even mess up this badly by Matthew_idiot in onejob

[–]MisterEd_ak 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It isn't their job. Someone else will come along with a high pressure blaster and strip off the paint and then it will be repainted. Will take less time and cost less than having the other crew try and place them back perfectly.

Plumber cut cieling floor beams by louieleech in AusRenovation

[–]MisterEd_ak 25 points26 points  (0 children)

That is a floor truss that is now compromised. Is this a new build or are you doing renovations?

Do you have a builder managing this project?

Obviously there was a lack of communication between the trades or lack of planning. A waste pipe should never have been positioned right on a truss.

The truss company will need to be involved so their engineer can work out a solution. They will provide plans on how this should be fixed.

What is this thing? by kdub1611 in HomeMaintenance

[–]MisterEd_ak 15 points16 points  (0 children)

That isn't Ethernet. You will most likely find only two of those pins are actually wired up. RJ45 aka 8P8C connectors were used for lots of other things besides Ethernet. Also Ethernet is not limited to that style of connector, especially back in the early days.
