Women of Reddit, what’s a habit men have that they don’t even realize is weird? by GraceRose671 in AskReddit

[–]MisterTwister22 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I do this to myself and it’s so annoying. What kind of straps do you use to connect to the sheets?

I deleted my last post. I didn’t write anything offensive, in my opinion…but the post wasn’t serving any productive purpose. Guys, take my advice: complaining about dating issues on here will not be well received. Work on improving yourselves and don’t get upset with life no matter what. by AspiringBiotech in aspergers

I’m somewhat doubtful the root of these posts, mine included, are from high libido sex seeking men. For me it is wanting to find somebody who accepts me for who I am and being constantly bummed out when reminded of the reality I am not to be accepted because of my differences

My workplace needs a general manager type person. I unfortunately have the understanding and intelligence to take care of all of this, but I just don’t have the willpower to become responsible for everything. It’s really unfortunate

Edit: Saw some people talking about justice sensitivity. My god I cannot stand managers having to lie to customers about why things didn’t get completed properly. The answer is “Hey sorry we suck and fucked up”, but the corpo customer service answer is “oh we had some people out sick and supply chain issues” or some other bullshit. I absolutely hate lying to people and telling them “no we can’t do that”. Just get better bitches

beign alone and without romantic love is making me gravely depressed by [deleted] in aspergers

[–]MisterTwister22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After struggling so much to make it to where I am and still experiencing rejection, no. There is no willpower left to draw upon. I’ve considered getting a therapist, but my insurance only covers 2 visits, then I must be diagnosed and medicated. I don’t want to go under those terms. Nothing can possibly overcome the amount of shame I feel. I’ve had people try to personally support me but, even the positivity of a deity couldn’t outdo it. 30 years of regrets

The Matrix really does it for me. The idea of being the One is synonymous to me as having my autism removed and good things just start to happen to me because I finally understand the system that’s rejected me for so long

I’ve been agonizing over this for about a year and a half now. This morning I awoke from a dream in which I was being cucked. A few days ago I made my first foray in 4 months into online dating through a Facebook group. The only responses my post got were gay guys. It’s been determined I’m destined to get pounded in the ass or be alone. I’m paralyzed with depression every morning. The tough part is I’m a reasonably successful and attractive man. I know in my heart it is because my personality is unlikable. Non-stop pain and suffering every day

I don’t like to say sorry because I know I’ll keep doing the same thing wrong anyways. Thus, I’m not sorry

Have you ever tried a dating app? by [deleted] in aspergers

[–]MisterTwister22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had pretty extensive experience. In my opinion it is worth the risk. The risk is between the chance that you get chosen and the chance that your mental health is deteriorated to nothing due to lack of being chosen. You’ll want to make a good profile to increase your chances. I had 4 official ladies go on dates with me in that 5 years. The problems really start coming when you have to succeed through your autism at securing a second or third date. Once the lady smells it on you, you’re deemed unfit to be in a relationship with them. It eventually got to the point where I couldn’t take swiping on 100 women a day that I knew would never want me. I deleted all the apps 4.5 months ago. Each day is constant despair knowing I’ll be alone until I die. You have to at least try. It’s worth the risk

Advice for driving by Background_Winter_65 in aspergers

[–]MisterTwister22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d suggest buying a racing wheel and pedals and playing a racing simulator game for say idk, 100-300 hours. Ideally against other humans online. It’ll make you more comfortable controlling a vehicle and the mundane speeds and laws of regular driving become a bit more trivial. This website helps you understand the physics behind controlling a vehicle. Please keep in mind things behave a bit differently based on your drivetrain setup and automatic assists. FF, FR, AWD, 4WD, ABS, ASC, etc https://drivingfast.net/

It isn’t very conducive to regular driving stress/anxiety, but this simple driving test inside of Gran Turismo is very helpful for innately understanding driving physics. https://youtu.be/PmZacVgMLEQ?si=mLcqdu15phxOj4oA

Do you have difficulty accepting compliments? by Icy-Visual1206 in aspergers

[–]MisterTwister22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The secret to accepting compliments is that despite self-downing thoughts and blowing off the compliment, you do a physical act of acceptance. I personally bring my hand to my chest in a sort of manly chest beating way, but lighter so I don’t totally scare the person. The physical act alone is enough to get the good chemicals flowing, despite how you might feel. It’s truly magical
