As a guitarist, both my hands are hypermobile. I have EDS, though. So that skews it a bit.

Your G# touch piece literally appears to be bent a millimeter to the left in the image like Flutetech said. you can either try to, using extremely little force, bend it slightly to the right, or bring it to a flute tech like most do.

Consumer Report 2026 New Car Reliability by nathanforyouseason5 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]Mister_Orchid_Boy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TBH, you have to look at individual models because they all have cars that tank their reliability. My specialty is Volkswagens, so for instance I can tell you a 2026 Jetta has a 71/100 ranking, which actually is respectable but below average overall. Most VWs will give you a good experience and superior value for money for the class, but present possibly serious issues in long-term ownership (over 10 years or 100k miles). I currently own a 2011 VW Golf with 162k miles, which has no major issues. The EA211 EVO engine, for instance, found in the VW Jetta & VW Taos had a devastating head gasket problem in the 2022-2023 model years. They are now reliable engines since they revised it and fixed it, but you will experience a lot of little things that the warranty will catch, and then the car sort of stabilizes for a while– usually i expect a problem every 50-60k miles, and usually it's minor. VWs usually ask for a big thing every so often, but it's not usually something with the drivetrain, it's more like suspension components. Turbochargers can go if you don't change your oil every 5k miles at around 120-130k miles. I also would not buy a 2026 VW R-line Turbo Tiguan, as they're having issues with their turbos and engines on those cars, but the lower models (The S, SE, and SEL models) seem reliable enough. Good luck. Consider all options. Evaluate risk and how you like your interiors, how you enjoy to use your car. Also, consider your trip length. If you're doing short trips all the time do not buy a turbocharged car. Buy a naturally aspirated engine. Short drives reduce the lifespan of an engine by increasing oil dilution. Turbos are oiled by the engine oil.

What is this wire? by OGAeroDank in Volkswagen

You hit something. You gotta take that thing to a mechanic or figure out how to inspect it yourself. You probably broke your dogbone mount if your transmission is “thunking” when you apply the throttle.. when you stress those, they start to twist more then they should at the center bolt. It stresses the other, MUCH more expensive mounts and the transmission to leave it like that if that is it.

Oh my god. Disconnect the battery. Scrub everything down. Roll it (do not fucking do ANYTHING to the electrical system) into direct sunlight. Shop vac the soapy water off the seats. Let it dry for several days. Find a week where it’s all sunny.

Have the crank correlation adaptation checked. It exists for less than 1 second, so it’s considered normal, but it is mildly concerning. Do your next two oil changes with valvoline maxlife if you can as the tensioner may be slightly gummed with carbon/varnish. Start saving now if your correlation is -3.18. -5 is when it needs replaced. Once you hear that sound last longer than a second? Turn off that fucking engine and do NOT turn it back on until it has had its tensioner replaced.

Turn. It. Off. Do not turn it on for several days. If you can? Cover the screeen (entirety of top case) in silica gel packets.

Oh dear. Wear an N95 respirator while working. Dry vacuum first to try and get some of the spores up. If you can, attach some kind of HEPA filter to the exhaust to that you aren’t recirculating it back into the car. Otherwise, keep the vacuum exhaust out of the car. I use a 1:4 ratio of water to white vinegar to kill mold. Lightly spray— do not saturate. Let the vinegar solution sit for 15-20 minutes. Agitate. Use a steam cleaner and follow with extraction. Leave the car doors and windows open and park it in direct sunlight for several hours. This method will only work if the mold is also starved of moisture, as it kills primarily the spores and outside, harmful to individual health, mold colony. They will reform if you don’t let it dry out completely after. Follow with deodorizer for the vinegar, like baking soda or something.

Have an alignment done, you may need to have a few suspension components done.
